Cozy and Quiet

We had a great stay. It was indeed cozy and quiet. The bed was comfy as well and it was nice that each room had a television. We enjoyed the screened in back porch as well just to have an outdoor feel while still enjoying thay secluded comfort. The host was responsive and proactive. I will say it's one of the nicest we've stayed at when we come home to visit in Macon.

Macon March stay

Are staying in macon is a very nice one with the Vrmo that we rented. We had a couple little problems but they were taken care of maintenance guy came over and fixed them. House is very charming exactly what we needed is very convenient and local their place that we needed to go and only maybe a mile mile half from my daughter‘s house and my grandson‘s house. I recommend this Vrmo rental to anyone want to stay in Macon.

Great Location and Responsive Host, but Security and Comfort Issues to Consider

We stayed for a weekend getaway and appreciated the location — it’s close to downtown Macon restaurants, events, and activities, and the host was very responsive whenever we reached out, which we truly valued.However, there were a number of issues that impacted our comfort and sense of security.The check-in process was confusing: although there is a keypad on the front door, it isn’t used to enter — guests have to find and use a lockbox attached to the doorknob. Outdoor lighting is poor, and the lockbox was extremely difficult to open. Even after retrieving the key, the front door itself was very sticky and hard to unlock. Several interior doors throughout the home were also difficult to open or close properly.Regarding security, the alarm system could only be set in “away” mode, not while guests are home, which felt unsafe at night. Multiple windows had no curtains or coverings, leading to privacy concerns.The listing described the backyard as fenced, but it’s only partially fenced — the right side of the yard is open to the street and neighbors’ yards, which was disappointing and potentially unsafe for pets or children.We also encountered maintenance and cleanliness issues:•The deck netting had large holes, allowing mosquitos inside.•One of the TVs had missing batteries in the remote.•Mold was found under one of the bathroom floor mats.Overall, while we appreciated the central location and the host’s supportiveness, the home needs better maintenanc
