Studio Condo in Sandpiper Cove-Walk to beach

Scuba's Surf Shack is a boho beachy studio w/ den in highly desirable Sandpiper Cove. Ground level condo with no steps and less than 5-min walk to the private beach access.

All amenities are accessible for our guests. Equipment needed for the amenities can be rented for a $5 charge.

Beach chair and umbrellas are available to rent.

Beach towels, beach toys, wagon and boogie boards are free to use.
Other things to note
***Must be 25 or older to rent (HOA rule), kids are welcome though. This is a family friendly vacation spot. Dog friendly under 50 lbs (extra fee will be applied).

The beach bar, chair rental service and water taxi are seasonal.

Great host, the room was very comfortable and inviting. There were carts and extra beach supplies incase we needed them. We would definitely stay again

Salt life!!!

Beautiful area, easy access to beach and other amenities. Recommend using water taxi to the harbor. Also, 2 stop snorkeling with destin snorkle on the harbor. Lulu's was definitely our favorite restaurant.

Cute Condo in Amazing Location

Brandon's place was cute and clean. I stayed there with my boyfriend for 4 nights. He provided beach towels which was great since we flew in. He was fast to respond to any questions we had. The condo community has pools and a private beach which was amazing. Plus other sport activities if you are interested, we didnt part take in thoses but we did tske advantage of the beach and pool. If you are in Destin, i would definitely recommend staying with Brandon.

Home away from home

We loved our cozy little cottage and had everything we needed! Met a lot of nice people and had fun playing pickle ball almost every day! The beach was gorgeous! We hope to visit again next year!

Nice, but needs a little TLC

I love the sunlight but there is no sunlight in the room, windows were covered and when I opened the front room curtains the window was covered with condensation, windows were not in good shape. Could use a little TLC. We took a small dog, association charged us yet another fee upon our arrival. Small but pleasant. Pools were wonderful. Surrounding Area was great!

Destin Stay

This property was everything we needed for our short weekend in Destin and at a very reasonable price point for all the amenities included. The studio is in a secure community and was very clean and neatly set up, plus included a driveway parking spot. There were many pools in the neighborhood and the private beach access was a short walk across the street. We also walked to coffee every morning and were a short drive to a lot of kid friendly attractions. The restaurant in the neighborhood had great food! Only improvement I would recommend is the shower water pressure; it may have been changeable, but I couldn’t reach the shower head to find out. Host was very responsive and we would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

Downstairs uniy

Very little options for cooking . The poop fan pulls smells from upstairs unit into bathroom . The host was hard to reach and had to contact VRBO to get code to check in . I asked to get unit halfway through to get cleaned and they refused. I was told they only charge one clean up fee then after we left we got charged more cleaning fees . They unit is on lower level so it’s extremely loud and annoying when someone is upstairs which I a sure bet if rented during peak season

Surf Shack

Overall it was a cute condo to stay for a couple days, but they were trying to sell the condo and the agent came by super late at night around 7, when he was supposed to be there at 4:30. He wanted to take a video of the place which we were uncomfortable with because our belongings were in there and if it wasn’t for my boyfriend getting up when we saw him at the door, he would’ve came right in which if I would’ve been there by myself as a female, that isn’t ok.

Great experience

Stayed with my husband, a 6month old and a 4yo. Before booking I inquired about a crib or pack and play which wasn't available but the host purchased one right the way. There were beach chairs available, beach towels, beach toys, an umbrella (shared with upstairs guests), a wagon that we used every day throughout our stay to take our disabled 4yo to the beach. Everything as described. We were hesitant to book at 1st because there were no reviews, but we're happy we went ahead with it. The property is at 1st floor with no stairs, which was perfect for us. Everything as described. The host responded promptly whenever contacted. Overall a great experience. I'd recommend this property.

Sandpiper Cove is a great spot in Destin, it's close to all the great restaurants and attractions. If you don't feel like driving, you can always schedule the water taxi to come pick you up (water taxi is seasonal). It truly has all the amenities you would want for a great vacation with the family.

We love this property because it's so bright and beachy feeling. We wanted guest to really feel like they are at the beach while staying at our property.
