Lake Geneva visit

We stayed at the property to be a little more country-like rather than staying at a place in the city and still be a reasonable distance to visit the Lake Geneva area. We tried catching fish from the dock. We were going to take out the paddle boat but then it got too windy. The house worked nicely for our group. The only downfall is it could use a few more kitchen items. A toaster, blender more mixing bowls and pans would be great.

Wonderful Stay with a Beautiful Waterfront View & One Setback

My mom, 2 small dogs & I recently stayed at this charming lakefront property & overall had a fantastic & relaxing experience. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, & well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. In fact, I can't remember the last time I slept so comfortably! Beds are AMAZINGLY comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect & serene. From the moment we arrived, were blown away by the breathtaking waterfront view. Waking up each morning to the sight of the sun rising over the water was truly magical. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying my morning coffee on the pier, which offered an unobstructed view of the water. It was the perfect spot to unwind & take in the calm of it all. Took the kayak out and really got to enjoy some. Even though it is on a busy road & at times you will have a whiff of the surrounding farmlands, it still offered a relaxing view of the water & wildlife. The only downside was that the water had a VERY unpleasant smell, which was noticeable during showers & when using the sinks. However, this inconvenience was in what was otherwise a perfect getaway. I did let the host know of this issue & they are hopefully working on a solution. Despite this setback, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property & would definitely consider staying here again. The positives far outweighed this one issue, and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy and well-located place to stay.
