Kun kirjoitat läpi yksityinen portit ja tuuli tiesi jopa upea 9000 sq. Jalka ylellisyyttä kotiin et vilauksen uima-allas ja kylpylä keskeytettiin ja näkymät joelle ja vuorelle, jossa tilava kannella ulkona osapuolille, ruokailu ja rentouttava. Kun annat tämän kotiin sinun täytyy ensin huomata 40 jalka katot. Keittiö on moderni graniittiset. Vieressä keittiö on pesutupa, jossa pesukone ja kuivaaja. Olohuone ja ruokailuhuone 40 jalkaa kaasu takka ja flyygeli näköala uima-allas alue. Kotiteatteri baarikeittiö ja pelejä. Vieressä kotiteatteri löydät kuntosali peilattu seinät. Kokoustila löytyvät myös tällä tasolla. On yksi makuuhuone täysikokoinen vuode ja kylpyhuone tällä tasolla. Kun tulet toisella tasolla löydät pelihuone että unohdetaan oleskelu- ja ruokailutilat, tämä on hyvä paikka piilottaa ja lukea kirjaa tai pelata shakkia. On makuuhuone sviitti kääritty kaikki lasi-ikkunat ja kaasu takka. Kylpyhuoneessa on kulkea suihku ja poreallas. Samalla tasolla eteläsiivessä löydät 4 makuuhuonetta, joissa on yhdistävä kylpyjä. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on erilliset vuoteet, kaksi makuuhuonetta on queen beds, ja yksi täysi vuode. On runsaasti pysäköinti ulkopuolella sekä leikkipaikka ja koripallo vanne.

Excellent Family Gathering

Our extended family gathered from 4 different states for a reunion. The house easily satisfied every age group. BBQ on the deck, kids in the pool and adults conversating in the xtra large kitchen. The house was clean with plenty of accommodations to keep us comfortable. Would definitely book it again in the future.

We had an amazing time! We loved cooking in the giant kitchen and the kids loved spending hours in the pool. We all enjoyed the basketball court and walking the beautiful property.

Family vacation

The pool was a fantastic hit with the youngsters. Very spacious and welcoming. Might upgrade beds. Shower pressure rather low. The children would definitely want to come back!

Annual Family Vacation

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property in the mountains. It was clean and very well equipped. The spacious kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. We appreciated the extra towels available, including the pool towels. The kids could not get enough of the pool area. We also enjoyed the media room, workout room and game room. The proximity to the river was an added plus for tubing and paddle boarding.

Spacious house with some attention needed

Our family of 11 were able to fit very comfortably in this house. It’s spacious and in a location that’s easy to get to town and waterfalls, while remote and beautiful. We had a very nice stay, but there were some quirks around the house that were small inconveniences - ice machine didn’t work, fan didn’t have a cord to turn off, some lights didn’t work or we couldn’t find light switches for them. Overall a nice place with lots of space, could just use a little extra attention.

Nice place

This property worked out well for our group - three families with a total of 10 people. The swimming pool was great and so was the media room. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room in the house. The house is well insulated and quiet for a large group. Lots of glass and great light. On the negative side, the light switches are sometimes challenging even though some of them are labelled. Hot water in the kitchen and the master bath took a long time to heat up and was only a trickle. Couple staying in the master had to use other bathrooms to shower. One disconcerting event was a roofing contractor using a key to come into the house on the Thursday evening we were there. First indication was discovering three strangers standing the front hall saying "Hello." Apparently there had been a roof leak reported earlier and they thought it was an emergency. Not a big problem, but made our group feel a little insecure for the rest of the stay. Wish we had known they were coming. Overall we had a great time and recommend the property, but be prepared for some slight inconveniences.

Family Vacation

The property is dated but it’s size allowed everyone privacy. The pool was a hit and our family of 10 gravitated to the large kitchen table or the deck. There were a few complaints from my family. My mother had a hard time with how low the toilets were. At 67 the lowness to the ground made it difficult. The family all agreed end that the mattresses needed improving. Several of us left with back aches due to springs. There was mold on several of the blinds in the master bedroom. It rained a few times and the sky lights leaked onto the stairs. I’m thankful we caught that safety hazard early. All the windows needed better cleaning due to the leakages throughout. The largest complaint was water pressure and the length of time the water took to get warm/hot. The issue being that by the time it did get hot it was coming out as a trickle in several showers which made showering impossible. We had a great time in Franklin but this property won’t be a repeat visit for us.

Cool house - Needs lots of updates

Stayed here in July with our family of 12. Lots of bedrooms which was nice and the real reason we decided the choose this house. The pictures are a bit misleading regarding the “remodels” as a lot of things are still quite outdated. The downstairs bedroom smells like MOLD and clearly has some mildew issues that have not been addressed. Some of the upstairs bedrooms do not have air conditioning, which was not advertised in the listing. It was a constant 80°+ in the master bedroom at all times even at night. Also, the pictures of the “views” in the listing are actually the neighboring property, which you cannot even see through the trees. Even including these pictures seems dishonest considering they are of another property which can’t even be seen from the house. Would not stay here again.

Absolutely adore Franklin River Estates!

This was our second time staying at this property and as always it does not disappoint! We had a small problem with the pool on day one, but Frank and Property Management were extremely responsive and had everything up and running in no time. The surrounding grounds are extremely relaxing and the neighbors and town of Franklin are some of the nicest people we've ever met. Looking forward to trip #3!

Wonderful vacation spot. The kitchen, pool, and deck were highlights for us. The pool got a lot of use by all generations! The location is great! So much to do in the area. The house was very clean and comfortable and the hosts are very responsive and kind!

Great getaway

This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit! The pool and game room were perfect for the kids. The open space is perfect for a large group. Everything you need is close by and easy to get to. If you have any questions the owners are super quick to respond! Highly recommend staying here!

Great choice for our get-away

This place was great for us. You pick up your keys for the property at a hotel on the way into town. It's not too far away. The owners were very timely in answering questions prior to the visit. We asked about the electrical issue stated in a previous review. They responded it had been addressed and we did not have a problem in our visit. Google Maps will take you up the wrong road. Just look for the street number instead when you get closer. Incoming instructions also explain how to get there. This house was built in 1989. Some of the electric runs and dimmer switches were an after-thought so as a result there are a lot of light switches. Some of the more important ones are labeled. Instructions for the media center are great. Wifi is a little slow, but it's also the mountains on satellite. Weather will have an effect. The pool and spa are great. They are an indoor spa and pool in a cold area. Warming it can take a while but it will get there. A pool in an inclosed space probably contributes to the mold on the ceiling in the main room. Something in the downstairs bedroom was setting off allergies and opening windows to air it out didn't seem to help. Maybe an animal from someone previous. We closed that room off and put that person up-stairs. No other issues there. Nothing a zyrtec couldn't fix. These two things are the reason why its not a 5 for cleanliness but they're not uncommon for an older house. Not a deal breaker if you're prepared. Game room was fun for the kids. Didn't really use the treadmill in the workout room. Between hikes in the area and running the roads outside the house in the morning you're all good. If weather is bad and you needed a workout its nice to have. We had 8 in our party and there was more than enough room. Kitchen was really great with multiple cooks! 2 fridges. Plenty of room and utensils. There wasn't any basics provided (salt, pepper,trash bags) beyond some toilet paper, dish soap, and hand soap so you'll want to pick that up at the store on the way in (and its close by). Plenty of towels though for the bathroom and pool. In short, it was great for what we needed. The owners are very responsive. Some preparation will go a long way.

Awesome family vacation.

We stayed hiked, played in the pool, relaxed I. The hot tub, watched a football game on the projector, grilled out, roasted marshmallows. We did it all. Kids loved playground and playing in river at bottom of driveway. Only complaint is that water pressure was a little low so tough taking a great shower. Also ran out of trash bags. Had a 10 day stay and was only given 3 bags. Internet is lacking. Cant stream two devices at the same time. Never connected phones to wifi because kids could stream Netflix.

Be prepared

I have so much to say about this property. Upon driving up, the house looks almost abandoned as plants are over grown and house needs a good wash. It was accurately pictured on the inside. So that was good. If you are staying at this property, be prepared to bring toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, salt and pepper. This house does NOT provide any basic of things. The house is huge, plenty of room. Decently cleaned, just don't pay attention to any corners.. If you have OCD this house is NOT for you. The rooms are not 90° cornered rooms. The showers are all strategically placed with mirrors directly across. In fact there are so many mirrors in this house its kind of creepy. The kids loved the pool area, which they did supply pool towels and a couple pool toys. They could not however open the slider to the pool. Maybe track needs to be greased? Our first night was going good, until it wasn't. There are intercoms in all the bedrooms with the master intercom in the kitchen. The intercom system decided it was going to randomly blare country music at 1am. Scared me stupid. Thinking maybe it was just a glitch, tried to ignore it. The second night, still worried about intercom incident, everyone is in bed and the smoke alarm in the kitchen starts going off. By the time we race down there, it stops. No smoke, nobody is cooking, just randomly goes off. Start to walk back upstairs, boom goes off again. Take it down, battery is still good. 2 hours later it goes off again. The 3rd night as we are adjusting some things of ours, the lights in the bedrooms randomly all shut off, while ceiling fans stay on. At this point I'm almost considering going to stay at a hotel. But we brush it off to clearly this house has alot of electrical issues that should be attended too. Speaking of lights in this house, most of them do not work. The lamps work, and only the labeled light switches work. In the master there is about 4 different sets of lights, but only 1 works. This is the same thru out the whole house. I got a killer workout while staying here tho, and I didn't even have to touch the gym! The bedrooms and front door are upstairs, everything else is down stairs. While staying in this house, be prepared to have a little bit of a drive wherever you go. This house is 20 minutes from the Georgia state border. So when spending this amount of money to stay in this house, I would almost say you would probably get more from a hotel...

Mountain get-a-way

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We rented the house mainly for the pool. Pros: clean house, plenty of room for 2 families to spread out, indoor pool, river across the street, near restaurants, and hiking. Cons: check-in was inconvenient as you had to go to a local motel to get the keys, house still needs some updates however this was stated in the description so it wasn't a surprise.

Relaxing week

The family enjoyed relaxing together with enough space to enjoy multiple activities at the same time. The indoor pool was great! We were a little disappointed that the jetted tub didn’t work, but parts shipping delays couldn’t be helped. A great house, but be aware of the challenges of multiple levels—not ideal for anyone with mobility issues. It was perfect for enjoying family time and having space to sit together as a family for meals. The projection TV was great, and we loved making s’mores on the deck. This was a great fit for our extended family.

Memorable Stay

We had an amazing vacation. The house was perfect for 3 families. It has everything needed for adults and kids. Kitchen was well stocked and we could cook big meals without issues. The location is beautiful and we could go on long walks. I think this was the best vacation house we have been so far!

Relaxing Getaway

We (4 adults) had a nice time relaxing by the pool and in the media room. This is a very comfortable house. The kitchen is nicely appointed and the main level has been remodeled. The bathrooms have not been updated yet but I suspect are on the list. The wifi signal isn’t strong throughout the house which may be an issue if you want to stream videos or have to hop onto a work meeting. Franklin is a cute town with two craft breweries and a few restaurants. Easy access to Highlands and the drive is beautiful.
