Tucked within the rolling hills and lush forests of Hocking Hills, Ohio, the Maplewood Cabin at Cedar Grove Lodging and Retreat offers a cozy, rustic escape on 65 acres of pristine woodland. Perfect for families, couples, or groups, this 3-bedroom cabin blends natural charm with modern comforts, ideal for exploring the beauty of Hocking Hills.
Exterior and Setting: Our Maplewood Cabin, a 1,300-square-foot log structure crafted from local woods, sits on our 65 acre property surrounded by towering trees and seasonal wildflowers. Its warm wooden exterior complements the Hocking Hills landscape. A spacious front porch with chairs and a swing invites guests to unwind, while a fire pit with seating is perfect for stargazing or storytelling. The cabin is a short walk from shared amenities, including hiking trails and a fishing pond. Parking for three+ vehicles is available, with easy access via a gravel drive, year-round.
Interior Layout and Amenities: Inside, the open-plan great room features vaulted ceilings a gas fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops, full-sized appliances, and cookware for home-cooked meals. A custom log table accommodates eight.
The cabin sleeps eight across three bedrooms: Upper level Bedroom: King-size bed; Two lower level bedrooms: Queen-size bed, with access to a shared full bathroom (tub/shower combo). All bedrooms have ample storage, ceiling fans, and blackout curtains. A queen futon in the lower level provides that extra sleeping for larger groups.
Amenities include air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, a smart TV with streaming and DirecTV, and provided linens and toiletries. In our onsite guest services building, there are a washer and dryer, Board games, books, DVD, outdoor games and more!!!
Outdoor Features and Activities: The private wraparound deck offers a dining table, chairs, a gas grill and hot tub, overlooking the forest and nearby fishing pond.
Guests enjoy access to: Miles of on-site hiking trails with the Hocking Hills State Parkâs iconic site Old Manâs Cave just a half mile away!

Reservations & Fees
Your rental rate is based on your dates, cabin/lodge, number of guests (all ages count), pets, and any add-ons. Please let us know if any of this changes before your arrival.
* Guests & Visitors: Each unit has a maximum occupancy. No extra visitors or overnight guests are allowed unless approved in advance. Approved daytime visitors are $20/person/day and may also incur a $500/day event fee. Unauthorized visitors/guests will result in fees plus a $75 penalty per daily occurrence.
* Vendors: Any outside vendors (caterers, DJs, photographers, rental companies, etc.) must be pre-approved and sign our vendor agreement.

We love pets, but to keep things safe and clean:
* Pets must be approved in advance, with the pet fee paid. Unauthorized pets = pet fee + $75 penalty.
* Pets should not be left alone unless crated, and owners must clean up after them.
* Service animals (per Ohio law) are exempt from fees but may be charged for damages. They cannot be left away from their owner.
* Emotional Support Animals are not service animals and are subject to regular pet policies/fees.

* 50% deposit secures your reservation; the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Reservations within 30 days require full payment.
* Non-payment may result in cancellation.
* Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AmEx are accepted. Cashierâs checks require an additional refundable deposit of 50%.
* Non-direct bookings through Airbnb follow Airbnbâs payment policies.

* Cleaning: Please bag trash, wash dishes, and leave the unit tidy. Excess cleaning may result in charges.
* Damages/Theft: Youâre responsible for damages or missing items. Report any issues immediately.
* Furniture/Electronics: Please donât move furniture or alter electronics. Instructions are in your welcome book.
* Noise/Privacy: Respect other guests. County-wide quiet hours are 10 p.m.â8 a.m. Guests found violating county noise ordinances will result in termination of the rental agreement and must leave the property. They are also subject to fines and arrest by local law enforcement.

* Donât overload refrigerators on arrivalâit may take up to 24 hours to stabilize after being loaded.
* Fireplaces are available OctoberâApril.
