This Guest Acknowledgment Statement confirms your understanding and agreement to abide by the rules and policies that will be outlined in your check-in documents.

1. RECEIPT OF RULES & POLICIES
I acknowledge that I have received and reviewed the check-in documents provided by New Smyrna Stays, which were sent via email three (3) days prior to my arrival. These documents include important information regarding check-in procedures, community rules, unit-specific guidelines, and safety protocols.
2. COMPLIANCE WITH COMPLEX AND COMPANY RULES
I understand and agree to fully comply with all complex rules and New Smyrna Stays company policies during my stay. I recognize that these rules are in place to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests and to maintain the integrity of the community.
3. PET POLICY – STRICT ENFORCEMENT
I understand that the vacation rental complex has a strict pet policy that must be followed at all times. Violations of this policy will result in an automatic $200 fine and may also lead to immediate eviction from the property with no refund.
Pets are only permitted if pre-approved for the specific unit and must be kept leashed at all times in all common areas. Additionally, pets are NOT permitted to relieve themselves anywhere on the property grounds, including lawns, landscaped areas, walkways, or parking lots. All pet restroom needs must be taken off-property.
Failure to comply with this rule affects all guests and owners. If pet policies continue to be ignored, the complex may permanently revoke pet privileges for all future guests. Your adherence protects the community's current pet-friendly status.
4. SMOKING & VAPING POLICY
I understand that smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the condo, as well as on any balconies, patios, or outdoor areas attached to the unit. This includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, e-cigarettes, and any other smoking devices.
Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees, fines, or immediate eviction without refund. This policy exists to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the unit, and out of respect for other guests and residents.
