Nice and Convenient

Great location, away from hustle and bustle, but still just a few train stops away. Property is nice, clean and modern.

Great Condo

The condo was exactly as listed — clean, comfortable, and very close to the train station, which made getting around easy. The only downside was that I never received a response from the host when I reached out. Otherwise, a great stay!

Cozy home

Overall the house itself was really nice. It had the basic necessities. The only thing would be there aren't extra towels and parking is tough. Communication was a bit slow but we ended up figuring everything out in the end.

Location was ideal. Parking was complicated but I was able to park on the street with no issues. It would have been nice had the kitchen area had a table but per the picture, there is no table so no surprise. The cleaning people had just left the property, so items were in the dryer. Communication with the host seemed like communication with AI. I figured most things out. Access required climbing stairs so if you have elderly people with you, this could be a challenge. Bedding quality was not the greatest but served its purpose. Lots of closet space!!!!Restrooms were in good condition. Price was better than two hotel rooms in the area.If travelling again with 4-5 people, I would consider the place again now that I know what to expect.

No AC

The place we had booked was not ready when we got there, so they had to put us in a different location for the night. I was told he would see about comping or giving a discount for the inconvenience of having to switch locations. The next day we were able to go to the property they were still cleaning after 4, so we had to just hang around. When we got to the final destination the AC was not working. I sent a message and he stated he would have someone come out and take a look, no one ever came out. 3 nights without AC we had to go and buy fans to get air circulating. The house was beautiful. It would have been great if we could have been comfortable.

Convenient spot

Pros: Nice size; walking distance to Blue Line train station (Orent Heights); decent price.Cons: Had to call for check-in information and that was a circus. Called "host" and was told by and answering service (I think) to call Vrbo. Called Vrbo and was told to call host. Call host and was told they would get back to me. Finally was texted lock box code and incorrect wifi password. After questioning that password was told that that it was all lower case. By day 2 (stayed 4 nights) it was clear the central air wasn't working. Let the host know and they said someon would be out the next day to look at it. No one ever came out so the central heat and air never worked. Weather was mild so no big deal.Also, no table of seating in large kitchen space. Would have been nice to have a table or dinette.Finally, the Blue Line trains were shut down the week we visited Boston. That meant riding a bus to the downtown which added a lot of time to travel. Buses used surface streets and made mutliple stops making probably 20 minute commute into downtown an hour plus each way. Probably not the host's fault, but if you are advertising proximity to train station the fact that the trains are down for scheduled maintenance would be nice to know when deciding on a location.I would recommend this place, but not ahead of trying something else. I guess as a first time Vrbo user this was disappointing.

Never stayed - Disgusting place - Refund requested.

This place was pure garbage. Live bugs, fecal matter, stuff in the toilet. Duct tape was holding the faucet together. Dirty towels and dirty washcloths were left. Stains all over the furniture. Insuffilecient dishes. Loose pavers on a steep stairwell when I had my senior parents and seven year old son with me. I had to reach out to get check in info earlier in the day due to zero communication. When there were issues, there was no reaponse to communication attempts. After we left and booked a hotel 30 minutes after we showed up there, I received a text - the following morning - offering to send the clean up crew. The place should have been cleaned prior to arrival. The fact that this property is allowed to be on VRBO is sacrilege. The property owner and VRBO should be ashamed. You've been warned.
