Charming 2-bedroom house walk to surf, shops & restaurants in quiet neighborhood
Nagomi is the Japanese word for "tranquility," which is exactly what you will find in Casita Nagomi, located in Calle Los Mangos in Playa Guiones. Just a 7-minute walk from the stunning Playa Guiones, this peaceful retreat is perfect for surfers, yogis, and beach lovers. It offers easy access to world-class waves while being located on a quiet street, but walking distance to restaurants and shops in Guiones (around a 10-15 min walk). Wake up to the soothing sounds of birds in the treetops while still being close to all the vibrant attractions of the area. Please note that landscaping has not yet been completed, and there is construction nearby, so a 20% discount is offered on the current rates.
The Space
-2 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
-King-size beds in each room that can be separated into two twin beds.
-Air conditioning in each bedroom.
-Fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator and dishwasher.
-Triple-filtered water throughout the house.
-On-site laundry: private washer and dryer for your use.
Important Notes:
-The design with the exterior staircase beautifully brings the jungle indoors, but it may not be ideal for young children since access between bedrooms and floors is outdoors. Children are welcome; I just want to ensure parents are aware of this feature.
-Nosara sometimes experiences water and power shortages. This is part of jungle life and beyond our control.
-The house is equipped with a large water tank; however, water should be used mindfully in the jungle.
-Landscaping has not yet been completed, and there is construction nearby, so a 20% discount is offered.

-Guests have full access to the Casita and the property.

While Costa Rica does have many of the conveniences you are accustomed to having at home, navigating a foreign country can feel a bit tricky. For that reason, we’re here to help curate your experience and itinerary to be the best it can be. From booking surf lessons and ATV tours to arranging your rental car or shuttle, to organizing your private chef and massages, we’re here for you.
Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. This Property has a water reserve tank for Guests during water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.
