You will have full access to the entire condo during your stay.
• Custom Door Code: You’ll receive a unique code for easy access 24 hours before check-in.
• Parking: You'll have an assigned covered parking space during your stay. If you have a second car, you're welcome to park by the pony wall on the street. Just a heads-up: parking in any uncovered spot in the lot for more than 2 hours may result in towing, so please be mindful of that.
• Shared Laundry Room: There's a laundry room nearby for your convenience - just make sure to bring your key fob to access it.
• You can access the community amenities—including the pool, hot tub, gates, and clubhouse—using the keycard provided. Please remember to return it before checkout to avoid a $150 replacement fee.
Other things to note
- Per regulations, guests are not allowed to use the mailboxes on site. You may have Amazon packages delivered to the door and also use nearby post office boxes for mail. We would not be liable for any lost packages.
- AC usage: To ensure the air conditioning system functions properly during your stay, please avoid setting the temperature below 72 degrees. Setting it too low can cause the coils to freeze, which may lead to a temporary loss of cooling. Keeping the thermostat at a moderate level will help maintain a comfortable environment throughout your visit. HVAC visit due to coil freezing because of setting the temperature too low will be charged to the guest.
**IMPORTANT:
- The pool is heated during the Winter season only.
- Please note that the HOA controls when the AC/heat is turned on/off for each season, so, unfortunately, this cannot be controlled by the thermostat during the change of seasons. Therefore, we have no control over whether the thermostat is set to heat or AC in the spring/fall when temperatures fluctuate.
- I'd like to call special attention to the following HOA rules and regulations in regard to the pool and spa areas. I'm sending these because the HOA has video surveillance cameras in these areas and is recording and monitoring ALL activity very closely and is extremely quick to issue violations and fines. All video footage is reviewed and they track violations back through my key fob so nothing is missed. I'm so sorry to seem like such a stickler, but the fines are $150 per occurrence. I pass along any fines to guests.
1. Pool and spa compounds are open from 8AM-10PM. Accessing outside these hours or remaining past 10PM is prohibited.
2. Pool and spa gates shall be kept closed and locked at all times. Homeowners are not to prop open gates or hang anything over a lock to prevent closure.
3. Residents shall not give access to controlled areas to anyone not an occupant of their own unit. This includes other residents with non-working fobs. Please direct them back to the owner of the condo where they are staying. I will be fined if you let them in. I will also be fined for any rules they may break.
4. Pool and spa are intended for use by Residents and invited guests only.
5. No smoking, chewing tobacco, or vaping (e-cigarettes) permitted within pool or spa compound.
6. Observe all posted regulations, including but not limited to: - no excessive noise, no running, no diving, no cannon balls, no jumping in, no rapid throwing of objects; no unattended minors; no music/radios without use of headphones; no horseplay, shoulder rides, dunking, excessive public displays of affection, abusive or foul language, or fighting.
7. NO GLASS ITEMS of any kind shall be permitted within the pool and spa areas.
8. Food and drinks shall be kept and consumed a minimum of four (4) feet away from pool or spa edge, as per Maricopa County code. No food or beverages allowed IN pool or spa or within 4 feet of the pool or spa. Water does count as a drink so please be sure to keep even that at least 4 feet away.
9. Residents may not reserve any part of the pool or spa areas, including loungers.
- AC is seasonal. Meaning in the winter months there is no AC. And in the summer months there is no heat. Please note this is the case for all units at the Maya Condominiums. Please ask before booking to make sure the AC/Heat will be on for your reservation.
- Please note that we have installed a NoiseAware device inside the home to monitor noise levels. The NoiseAware device is not intended for recording, and please be assured that we cannot hear any audio from it.
We want to ensure that your stay with us is enjoyable and hassle-free. To make sure that we maintain the property's cleanliness and safety, we kindly request that you take note of the following reminders for STRICT IMPLEMENTATION during your stay at our property:
• Pets are strictly prohibited on the premises.
• Smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana is strictly not allowed anywhere on the property. Please smoke on the street and do not litter cigarette butts or ashes on the property.
• Parties, events, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette stays, get-togethers, and the like are not allowed.
• Check-in time is after 4 PM and check-out time is by 11 AM.
• Please use the smart lock for self-check-in.
• Respect your neighbors by keeping noise levels down and avoiding disturbances.
• Do not wash dishes in the bathroom sink.
• Burning candles, incense, or any other open flames is strictly prohibited.
• Per regulations, guests are not allowed to use the mailboxes on site. You may have Amazon packages delivered to the door and also use nearby post office boxes for mail. We would not be liable for any lost packages.
• Please ensure that you lock the door AT ALL TIMES to ensure the safety of you and your belongings.
• The number of guests staying should not exceed the number stated in your reservation, and unapproved visitors are not allowed.
• Loud music or disturbances, especially noise past 10 PM, are not allowed. • Please note that excessive internet data usage will result in a fee of $50 if it exceeds the limits of our plan.
• If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, look after it; if you make a mess, clean it up; and if you move it, replace it.
NOTE: We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises. We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind.
• FEES: A lost remote control (TV, fan, or air conditioner) will result in a $100 charge.
• FEES: A $250 fine will be imposed for any type of smoking.
• FEES: Unapproved Late Check-Out fees: Every hour after 11 a.m. is an additional $50.
• FEES: Additional guests not listed in your reservation will be charged $50 per night per person. Please be completely transparent in your reservation to avoid this issue.
• FEES: A $250 fee will be assessed for blocking or covering entrance surveillance cameras.
•Toiletries provided in the bathroom are intended for initial use only. These items are meant to serve as a startup kit to get you settled in upon your arrival. For longer stays or if you require additional supplies, we kindly ask that you make the necessary arrangements to purchase these items as needed.
