Four Feathers is built for spirited escapes and cozy comebacks rally on your private pickleball court, sweat it out in the sauna, plunge like a champion, and wrap it all up in a robe with your pup at your feet and a drink in hand.
Our lovingly curated mountain hideaway. Originally built in 1970, this chic chalet blends the rustic soul of Alpine lodge life with the clean, cozy minimalism of Scandinavian design. Think natural wood beams, smooth stone textures, plush textiles, and a neutral palette that lets the surrounding forest take the spotlight.
Set among towering oaks and pines with sweeping desert-meets-mountain vistas, Four Feathers is designed to be your refuge in every season. Whether it’s a snow day or starry summer night, the house stays cozy and calm thanks to central HVAC, an EV charger, and—yes—a backup generator, because mountain life doesn’t wait on the grid.

Head upstairs to the loft-style primary suite — your own peaceful perch. There’s a walk-in closet, an ensuite bath with a sleek vanity and streamlined shower, and your own private deck with breathtaking mountain views. Want more fresh air? There’s a second spacious deck off the downstairs bedrooms — perfect for your morning coffee or stargazing at night.
Oh, and yes — the home has A/C (a mountain luxury!) and all the high-design, cozy-living vibes you could want.

We’re a family from Los Angeles with deep roots in Lake Arrowhead. We love design, art, architecture, food, music, kids, dogs, pickleball, and spa culture—and Four Feathers Spa & Pickle is the intersection of all that and more.
After spending years in these mountains, we dreamed of creating a retreat that felt intentional, peaceful, and inspiring—a place to truly rest, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We built Four Feathers with that in mind: space for quality time, slow mornings, pickleball matches with friends, fireside chats, sauna sessions followed by cold plunges, long meals, and naps among the trees.
Everything about the A-frame reflects what we value and love when we travel: comfort, privacy, thoughtful design, and a touch of something special. From the cedar sauna and cold plunge to the Sonos sound system, curated kitchen, and dog-friendly fenced yards—every detail was chosen to help guests slow down, feel good, and enjoy life.
We host because we love the idea of others experiencing Four Feathers the same way we do—whether it’s a weekend reset, a family staycation, a couple’s getaway, or a mountain escape to hike or bike with your dog and your playlists.

We chose this part of Lake Arrowhead North Lake Shore bec it feels like its own quiet pocket of the mountain. It’s close enough to the Village, the lake, and nearby trails to be convenient, but just tucked away enough to feel peaceful and still. From the house, you get expansive views high desert ridges and treetops on one side, mountain peaks on the other. The light changes throughout the day, with sunsets that hit just right.
There’s something grounding about this neighborhood. It’s quiet, neighborly, and full of towering trees. You can hear wind moving through the branches, spot woodpeckers in the morning, or catch snow falling silently in the winter. And while it feels remote, you’re minutes from everythinggreat food, coffee, shops, hikes, biking trails, SkyPark, and access to the lake itself.
One of our favorite parts about being here is getting to enjoy the lake without the chaos. Guests can walk around the lake in designated areas, visit Lake Arrowhead Village, or rent a boat for the afternoon. There’s also fishing available with the right permits, and guided lake tours if you want a relaxing way to see the shoreline. The lake is private, but with day access passes, you can experience the best of it on foot, on the water, or just watching it from the docks.
This spot also gives you easy access to other mountain gems like Lake Gregory, Big Bear, and seasonal events throughout the area. And it’s a great place to enjoy all four seasons—breezy green summers, crisp golden autumns, still and snowy winters, and bright, blooming springs.
For us, this neighborhood offers the balance we were looking for. It’s calm and restorative, but still connected. Whether you’re soaking in the spa, playing a few games of pickleball, or heading into the Village for a market or meal, it’s always easy to go exploreand even better to come back.
