Small farmhouse in a hilly position, in the municipality of Cinigiano: halfway between Monte Amiata and the sea, with three independent flats, private and communal outdoor spaces and a beautiful swimming pool. This family farm is located on one of the beautiful Tuscan hills. The area is that of Montecucco wine, a DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) wine of the area. We are just a few kilometres from the area of the famous Montalcino with its Brunello. One kilometre away is a beautiful medieval village, Castel Porrona.

Three flats are rented, independent of everything and with private outdoor spaces. The lodgings are equipped with antique objects of poor art and in the outdoor areas of the farm you can admire period equipment and heirlooms used in the past for farm work. The garden is shared. It has a small playground for children, relaxation areas, walks to explore the farm and a shared swimming pool. Inside their enclosures are Vietnamese pigs and our Maremma shepherd dog. Free around the farm you will find the three cats.

The house is halfway between the sea and the mountains in a very quiet area with a low population density. The noise is only that of the countryside with roads and paths suitable for long walks, cycling and horse riding. The landlord lives on the upper floor of the manor house and is always available to help you organise your holiday. The first village is 5 km away. There you will find restaurants, grocery shops, a pharmacy and a bar with refreshments. All around there are small medieval villages of historical interest, such as Roccalbegna, Castello di Porrona, Colle Massari and many others. The location is perfect for lazing about as well as visiting and getting to know the area. Here you can do everything or nothing. Within 40 km it is possible to reach cities of art (Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Massa Marittima), visit parks and nature reserves (Maremma Park, Monte Amiata Fauna Park), immerse yourself in the sulphurous waters of Saturnia or in the clear waters of the Argentario and the Tyrrhenian coast. For those who love good wine: the farm is located in the centre of the Montecucco DOC area, opposite the vineyards of Montalcino, a neighbouring municipality.

The Apartment Girasole offers a living area of 40 square metres and can accommodate three adults and up to three children (0-12 years). Maximum capacity is five persons. If there are two adults and three children, two children will sleep together in the sofa bed and one in the single bed. It is located on the first floor with an exclusive entrance. It is located on the family farm, immersed in the typical Tuscan hills.

The Apartment Girasole is structured on two levels: on the ground floor there is an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and two entrances to the outside; a spiral staircase leads to the upper floor where we have the second bathroom with shower and a view of the hills. There are also personal hygiene products (shampoo and shower gel). On the right we access the sleeping area which comprises in one space a double bed, a single bed and a sofa bed for one person. The flat is furnished with arte povera antiques.

Flat Girasole has a private veranda with a wooden table and a barbecue for large dinners. In the outdoor areas of the farm you can admire period equipment and memorabilia used in the past for our work.

The pool is 1.5m deep, 8m wide and 4m long. It is for common use shared with the other flats, is completely enclosed and enjoys a wonderful view of the hills and in particular of Monte Amiata. There are sunbeds and umbrellas and a table and chairs in the shade. From the pool we can also admire our olive grove. We have about 800 trees, from which we obtain a completely natural and organic oil, free of any chemicals. The flavour is definitely unique, with a bright green colour and a slightly spicy taste. We use it mainly raw, or on bruschetta, to dress a good salad, to season meat.

Inside the flat you will find information on many activities available in the area. Maps, guides, various brochures. Everything on the property is at your complete disposal, from the bikes to the swimming pool, the panoramic gazebos and the entire surrounding countryside. The garden around the farm is shared. There is a small playground for children, relaxation areas, walks to explore the farm and a swimming pool with a panoramic view of the hills. In the outdoor areas one can admire period equipment and memorabilia used in the past for agricultural work.
