Please let me add my extremely positive review to the many others here. We stayed here for 2 weeks mid-February. The location of Casa del Mar is perfectly located between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas and makes a wonderful gateway for exploring all of the many adventures in the area. First: I can see why Steve and Cindy are "super hosts" on VRBO! Wonderful communication! The condo is set up with EVERYTHING you will need to enjoy your time. Let's start with outdoor gear: Snorkel gear, portable camp chairs, sun umbrellas, coolers, brand new beach towels, extra hats, floatys...you name it they have it and we used it every day! So great to just be able to leave it in the trunk of the car for the duration. condo: beautifully set up and super clean and comfortable. Tons of towels, wonderful sheets, lots of pillows, extremely well set up kitchen.

AMAZING view from the deck! A really fabulous feature of the condo is that it is part of the Casa del Mar resort and as a guest you are entitled to the full use of the resort as well as having your own private condo. So the pools and (swim up pool bar:) the deck chairs everywhere, the gym and reswtaurants and other resort options are all right there for you to enjoy, along with a free parking pass!

We found the entire area, not only the resort, to be extremely safe...well beyond anything else I have experienced in the many other areas of Mexico in which we have travelled. Great food, lovely people and many, many adventures to be had. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you are inclined. Definitely opens up the area. But on the other hand if you just want to hang out and relax...go for it! We feel we have found our new Cabo home and will definitely be back and we will be staying right here with Steve and Cindy! Please don't hesitate in booking this place....you will be so happy you did! Thanks for everything....we had a most amazing time! :)
