Peaceful Property with Extraordinary Views

We had a truly restful stay at this amazing home. There are large windows in every room that allow you to enjoy the beauty of the lake and the surrounding property. We enjoyed the way this home and hosts welcomed us with open arms.

Great Lakefront Property with everything!

Beautiful home and property with a wide section of waterfront and a great dock! An amazing yard with a fire pit, kayak and paddle boards to use on the lake. This place really has everything, a huge deck to eat and relax on and a great gas grill for cooking. Home has AC in all the rooms and is very comfortable with lots of great cars and couches to relax on. This was a wonderful stay with 7 people in our party. A big thank you to Eric for a great 4th of July week!

Perfect Setting

The lake house was just what the doctor ordered. Each day was filled with floating, eating, kayaking and fishing and spectacular sunrises.The main bedroom is separated from the other two which provided privacy for grandparents when little ones struggled to get to sleep. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware. All in all it was the perfect holiday in the perfect setting.Thank you for the memories made.

Home is a beautiful property right on the lake in a nice neighborhood, Close enough to shopping, breweries and restaurants yet it feels private. Would recommend and would return.

Wonderful home

This was one of the best rentals we’ve stayed in. The home was exceptionally clean and had every thing we could have possibly needed or wanted. Furniture and beds were comfortable, extra blankets were easily accessible, and the kitchen and bathrooms had all the staples I could have imagined. The view was great for beautiful sunrises and the location was convenient for a day trip to Niagara Falls. Would return in a heartbeat.

Perfect getaway. Beautiful view. Great fireplace. Great location.

Just the right size for a group of 6. Great location for visiting nearby wineries in the finger lakes and coming back to a quiet, beautiful lake view when you’re done. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evening and look out at the lake. Plenty of cookware to have meals with your group. The deck space is probably ideal for outdoor gatherings and grilling, but we avoided that during our winter visit. Enjoy!

Beautiful Lake House

This property is beautiful. Well kept, clean, and the views are spectacular. We rented for a long weekend for graduation at RIT plus birthdays and Mothers Day. Had many events for the graduation that we didnt get to enjoy many amenities at the house like the hot tub or kayaks/paddleboards but they are available. Definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting the Finger Lakes region. It is a gem.

August 24 Family vacation

This is a great house. Beautiful views. My family (and extended family) rented this house in the first week of August 2024. The house is terrific. When we got there there was a tremendous amount of seaweed in the water. So much so we did not even get into the water off the dock. Also at this end of the lake, there is a lot of silt. Who knew? So if you go in the shallow end you quickly are above your ankles in Silt. Really bad.

Canandaigua Lake vacation

The house was great!! Spacious indoors, and spacious outdoors -- huge deck, large yard both on the lake side and on the road side of the house. We brought our pontoon boat, and the dock was perfect for it (we had checked with the owner ahead of time to make sure we could keep it there), and the yard on the road side had plenty of space to keep our trailer for the week. We appreciated having access to the kayak and the paddle boards. The owner was very responsive when we had a question about the trash pickup.

Perfect House

I have only great things to say about this house, property, and location! The house itself was so nice and clean, and perfectly laid out for 2 families to stay in. The backyard and deck were clean and had ample chairs and tables to use. The lake is beautiful and we made good use of the kayaks and paddleboard that were available to use. The hot tub with a perfect view of the lake was also a big hit! It was also very nice to have an outdoor grill to use. The location is great too - very short drive into town and wineries and breweries nearby. We had a wonderful time there and hope to go back!

Great house!

Beautiful home on the water. Backyard with fire pit was great and the deck is huge with a great view of the lake. Super convenient to town yet still very private. House is very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable and the layout was good for our family. Lake was great for kayaking and the runners in the family loved running on West Lake Rd. (plenty of hills)

Beautiful Graduation Getaway

Enjoyed a very nice RIT graduation weekend at the Gilberts lake house on Canandaigua. The home is in a beautiful setting with mature trees, and lots of parking, lakefront and lawn. We enjoyed the lake views and many amenities of the property, including kayaks, hot tub, fire pit and indoor fireplace. The owners were quick to respond to all our questions- they were great hosts. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect family spot on the lake

Great location:right near town and right on the lake. With great views of the lake, the house appears to have been recently updated and very comfortably accommodated our family of 5. We enjoyed some time in the hot tub and taking the kayaks out on the lake.
