Although the self check in process and WIFI access was smooth, those are the high point of the positive items I can list. Everything else was well below expectations, which lead me to only stay for 1 night. I am in the process of asking for a refund for the unused 2nd night.
I stayed in cabin 3 at the back part of the property. There is only 1 parking spot per cabin, the one for cabin 3 is in the sand. Bad start. While the place has cute beach decor, it is dingy- needs new paint. Once I entered I found that the outlets in the kitchen did not work. I had to plug the microwave and coffee maker into the living room. The owners ask to wash your feet outside and provide a hose, but the faucet had not knob so you could not turn the water on. I also noticed mold under the mini split AC in the common room; on top of that, when the bedroom door is closed, all you have is a ceiling fan, which squeaked when on. Florida summer- hot and humid. Although the bed is comfortable, I did not sleep well- woke up with sinus issues because of the mustiness.
I reached out to the owners for each issue and was ignored each time. There is no phone number, just text through app.
Lastly, just for awareness, not under the owner's control, but the beach was not user friendly. Although it's only a short walk away (across a busy street), it has a steep slope with big boulders and so many sand fleas (no-see 'ems) that I did not enjoy the experience and would not recommend for families with kids.
