Moderni hirsimökki Okanagan-järvellä, yksityinen ranta, iso telakka, veneenosturi ja käynnistys

Tämä suuri uusi hirsimökki sijaitsee aivan kauniilla Okanagan-järvellä. Se on oma yksityinen ranta, poiju, oma laituri / vene hissi ja veneen vieressä.

Mökissä on kolme erillistä tasoa ... Pää, parvi ja maa / kävelymatka. Kaksi perhettä voivat elää hyvin mukavasti yhdessä maanpinnan ruokasalin takana, jossa on kaikki keittiön tarpeet. Ainoa mitä puuttuu, on uuni ruokasalissa.

Päätasolla on iso kansi, josta on näköala rannalle ja laiturille, sekä viihtyisä parvi parveke kahdelle. Maanpinnan taso kattaa päätasokannen, jonka avulla alueelle voidaan varastoida rantaleluja tai pysyä tarvittaessa auringon poissa.

Kirkas, kaunis Okanagan-järvi on vain muutaman askeleen päässä mökistäsi!

Amazing vacation!

We had an amazing time here! The house is better than the pictures. It was so well stocked, we SUPER appreciated the well stocked kitchen, 2 fridges, the extra deep freeze and the closet full of games. We also loved how big the dock was and the boat lift. The kids loved playing on all the big rocks. Kathy and Dave were great and we had a perfect 10 days!!!!!!

A beautiful location right on the water

The road down to the cabin is quite steep, but the home and the dock were absolutely beautiful and very functional. Unfortunately, the VRBO listing had said there was a hot tub, which there isn't (but this has since been corrected). Also, the outdoor laundry facilities were not working while we were there.

Magical family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay with this cabin. It was a beautiful time for our family. The cabin had everything we needed and a beautiful dock to play off of. The hill is quite tense to get down to the cabin. Also with 2 small children the high kitchen table is beautiful but not family friendly with our little grandchildren and grandma who is short. Ha Ha. Thanks again.

One of the best family vacations we've ever had.

Property was ideal for 2 families. Clean with all the amenities and creature comforts of home. A little off the beaten path which is what we wanted but could get to stores to if you needed any supplies. Spent the entire week in the water, on the dock, on our boat (dock was ideal for it), or playing games on the patio. We even had a few fires before the fire ban kicked in. Nice grassy area for bocce etc. Weather was hot so the A/C came in handy too. Kathy and Dave were super nice, responsive, accommodating. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful well appointed cabin

Great family getaway for the week. David and Kathy were great hosts. Lake was quite rough on arrival so instead of using the Fintry boat launch we used theirs. Warning if you’re not super comfortable with steep inclines I would not recommend bringing your boat down the hill. The driveway is literally the only thing preventing me from giving this place absolute top marks. If you plan on arriving and just chilling it’s super peaceful, beautiful water, and unreal views and wildlife. It is a good 30 minute drive though to anywhere really useful though so make sure to bring everything you’ll need for the trip. We had 2 adults and six older teens and the cabin had lots of room to accommodate us all. The cabin is very well decorated and comfortable. The pics truly don’t give it justice.

A beautiful family getaway!

Our family reunited here for 4 days. We had a mix of rainy and sunny days, but regardless, the interior of this cabin is as beautiful as the outside. The cabin is spacious with 3 levels that provided everyone with their own space. Its equipped with everything you need. The dock was well used on our sunny days, as the sun set behind us, so it gets shady at the cabin very early. Come prepared with provisions, cause its a long drive to either Vernon or Kelowna if you forget anything...at least 45 min each way! It would have been perfect if it was a bit closer to civilization. As well, the road into the cabin is very steep. We were thankful we had a 4 wheel drive. Our son did make it down with his car, but a bit of an issue getting up the steep hill. Overall I would give this cabin 5 stars!! Its only the proximity to the closest town that may be in issue....but overall a perfect getaway!!

What a wonderful property...

My family and I just spent a wonderful 10 days at Pinchmee and loved every minute of it. The "cabin" is completely equipped, the grounds and dock were as advertised and as many have already said, the pictures do not do it justice. Perhaps the best review I can leave is that by the time we had been there for a half day, we had already connected with Kathy to book for next year! Thanks to you both for sharing your little piece of paradise with us....can't wait to come back.

Fantastic Fintry Vacation House

The house and property were exactly as expected from photos and descriptions on the internet. Kathy and David were very easy to communicate with and answered our queries in a very short time. We had no issues at all and everybody had a great time. Our grandson was just learning to ride a push bike so he enjoyed the spacious deck, which is where all the adults spent most of our evenings. The huge dock was a favorite place during the day, both for lounging and water activities. We did not use the boat lift but the new mooring buoy directly in front of the dock was perfect.

Wonderful multi Family getaway -lake side

What a privilege to get the opportunity to spend time at this paradise on the lake. Clean comfortable accommodations. Couldn’t ask for anymore in an easy private escape. The house is fully stocked with everything you need from top to bottom, bathrooms, beds, cooking, lounging, linens and what a dock! The hosts are amazing very kind and respectful . Bring your water toys and food and you are all set for a great stay . Many memories were made . This cabin is definitely on our list to visit again . Cheers Richelle :)

Family Vacation

The cabin is amazing and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can think of. The view is spectacular and the dock was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and plan to come back! :)

Life Returns After Covid Year

We were a family of 6 adults and 2 teenagers that booked a 10 day stay with David and Kathy Froese who are fantastic hosts that made us all feel very welcome. We rented a Winn 200 from John Large of easyboatrentals,used the lift at the cabin and had a blast. The mornings on the deck are throughout the day are magical and provide a terrific hub along with huge dock. Smoke rolled in the last part of our stay but we continued to have dynamite time. Thank you again to David/Kathy PS our dog Copper had the the best time ever swimming in very clear water.

Enjoyable lakeside stay at this beautiful property

We had a great stay at Dave and Kathy's place. They were just departing as we arrived. We were fortunate to meet them and to learn first-hand about the history of their development and construction of this beautiful "cabin". There is clear pride of ownership throughout, with excellent attention to maintenance and cleanliness, quality furnishings and art. A well equipped kitchen with all the little items that you might need. There was only two of us, so we stayed on the main floor with easy access to main entrance, kitchen, and deck all on the same level, but both the upper and lower levels were very well equipped as well. Very suitable for a large family stay or 2-3 couples. The location on the west side of the lake is nice, with sun in the morning, and then shaded in the heat of the latter part of the day. You will enjoy watching the resident marmot family mow the lawn at the rear of the property each morning. Tips: Fintry Park nearby to the south, and both Killiney Beach and Evely Rec area to the north, are nice day outings. Come fully stocked. If not, Vernon is the best choice for gas and shopping, a nice 45 minute drive away. It is a steep gravel switchback drive down the hill from the main Westside Road to the cabin, so best not to try and do it in the dark the first time. Just take your time and you'll be fine.

Labour Day 2020

We had such a great time. Much needed escape from the city with an absolutely beautiful view. The house and facilities are simply fantastic. Dave and Kathy were very welcoming. Can't wait to go back :)

Great cabin by the lake

Loved the dock and being close to the water. The boat launch at Fintry campground is close and excellent. The driveway down to the cabin is quite steep and parking is tight at the house. The house was great, lots of seating and great kitchen.

Awesome adventure

This was our first big family holiday, 2 families of 4 and grandparents. Kids aged 9-15 had lots of fun on the dock and with floaties that we brought in the water. We brought our boat along and that provided lots of entertainment, not really easy to launch due to a very steep road and boat gas is about 20 minutes away at the Vernon marina. The cabin provided lots of space for everyone to be comfortable. Only one TV in the loft so you get cozy to watch a movie. It is remote so you will want to get supplies before you go. We had a great week!

Okanagan Oasis

We loved this location! It was absolutely perfect for all the little kids ages (2-15) squealing like little piggies as they jumped off the dock ! Plenty of firewood to roast marshmallows :) We joked about wanting to submit a bad review so that nobody else would discover our new favourite cabin ! We love this place .... and will be back for sure :)🤞🏻

Unbelievable Stay

This was our first stay out on Lake Okanagan and I would have to say David and Kathy did not disappoint. From the large cabin to the great weather our stay was wonderful. We had a large family with lots of kids and there was lots of room for everyone. And then there was the dock. This is were we spent the majority of our days with plenty of room for all the adults and kids. We brought our boat with us so between the watersports and just hanging and playing in the water, the experience was amazing. Thanks for everything David and Kathy!

Perfect cabin for a family stay

We travelled to Pinch Me the first week of July 2019 as a group of many ages 73, 29, 28, 26, 26, 7 and 5 months. This was the perfect cabin for a multi-generational group. I would not hesitate to book again for a family gathering! Cabin: The house is very spacious with three levels that accommodate guests comfortably. The open concept main floor is perfect for games nights and breakfast. The bedding was all very comfortable and we slept well. It is also located right by the beach so there are no long stairs for people to climb. The front yard has a fire pit and is a great area to hang out if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful view at the dock. Location: It is located right between Vernon and Kelowna so by boat you can reach either one. The beach area has very clear water - we grew up in the area and some cabins have a lot of seaweed. We saw birds, chipmunks, fish and deer at this beautiful lake home surrounded by forest. Hosts: Kathy and Dave are very friendly and responsive. On our day to leave a tree had fallen blocking our exit and they had it taken care of extremely quickly! Check-in is a very easy process. Favourites: The dock and boat lift are very well designed and perfect for boaters. The lawn area is perfect for lawn sports - we brought ladder ball and croquet! This was a great feature. The deck has an amazing view. Suggestions: Use Fintry boat launch it is easier to manoeuvre. Hide any mouse traps if children are visiting. Disclose the close nature of the adjoining property - simply because some of the rules are affected​ by this for example air conditioning, noise and the owners occupy it.

Annual Family Vacation

This was our first time staying at this cabin. There was 9 of us (family of 5 and both sets of grandparents) the setup was perfect for all of us,we each had our own level including bathroom/shower,the kitchen was well equipped and spacious for us all and were able to eat meals together.The extra fridge and stand up freezer were great as we brought most of our groceries with us,and the fridge kept our beverages nice and cold. The dock was amazing,the kids (and some of the adults) enjoyed jumping off the dock and just relaxing on it as well. The weather wasn't the greatest our whole week but we still enjoyed the dock,water & decks. During our stay we saw deer,geese,ducks,loons and chipmunks on the property. Both Dave & Kathy are wonderful to deal with,they were always quick to answer any question or request we had. The location of the cabin is very private and quiet. The road coming down to the cabin is a long,steep narrow road we had no problems getting up and down in our 4x4 but others did, it was worth it going down to the amazing cabin,dock and decks. It was great not having wifi or tv...the kids didn't even miss it and learned some new card games.
