YHTEENVETO
Tervetuloa Lago Houseen. Tämä nykyaikainen koti nukkuu jopa kymmenen ja siinä on viisi makuuhuonetta, joista yksi on oma kylpyhuone, kolme täyttä ja puoli kylpyhuonetta, joissa kaikissa on täydellinen liinavaatteet. Keittiössä on mukavasti kotikokki, jolla on tarpeeksi kokkeja työkaluja, ruokailuvälineitä ja astioita perheesi palvelemiseksi.

Lago-talo on sisustettu mukavasti, ja siinä on sinisenkiven puulämmitteinen takka, useita sohvia, tuolit ja männyn maalaistalo ruokapöytä, joka mahtuu kymmenelle aikuiselle. Media- ja pelihuoneessa on järvinäköala, kirjasto, satelliittitelevisio, DVD-soitin, foosball-pöytä ja monia suosittuja lautapelejä. Neljän hengen ulkokylpytynnyri sijaitsee alakerroksessa, suojassa sateelta ja on näköala järvelle.

Lago-talo sijaitsee viehättävällä Titus-järvellä, 90 hehtaarin makean veden järvellä Catskill-vuoristossa. 2000 jalkaa merenpinnan yläpuolella raikas vuoristoilma on virkistävää. Kaksi hehtaarin kiinteistö on puoli metsäinen varmistaa sen paeta. Kaksitasoisella kannella on upeat näkymät järvelle, ruokailun ulkopuolella, aurinkoa ja suojaisella neljän hengen kylpytynnyrillä. 210 jalan julkisivu tarjoaa rantaa, pääsyn järvelle ja satamalaiturin veneen laskemiseen (mukana 2 soutuvene) tai uimaan. Palokaivo sijaitsee lähellä järveä, täydellisenä auringonlaskun nuotion tai ilta-vaahtokarun paistin kanssa.

Paikallisiin aktiviteetteihin kuuluvat ratsastus, vaellus, kalastus, golf ja vuoren huipputanko. Elokuvateatteri ja ostoskeskus ovat 30 minuutin ajomatkan päässä. Osta päivittäistavaroita paikallisesti, jos maatilan seisontamahdollisuuksia on runsaasti tai tuo omat ja nauti rentouttavasta ja rauhallisesta lomasta.

Lago-talo on vuokrattavissa viikonloppuna, viikolla, kuukaudella tai vuodenaikana. Se on kolmen tunnin ajomatkan päässä New York Citystä, kolmen ja puolen tunnin päässä Bostonista ja tunnin päässä Albanystä. Hemmottele itseäsi, perhettäsi ja ystäviäsi jonkin aikaa järvellä. Lago House Kuvaus Yksityiskohta
Lago House on 3100 neliömetrin nelikauden koti, joka sisältää viisi makuuhuonetta ja kolme ja puoli kylpyhuonetta. Master-kylpyhuone (yksi queen-vuode) on ylemmällä tasolla ja järvelle päin. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta (molemmissa kaksi erillistä vuodetta). Tällä tasolla on täysi kylpyhuone sekä puoli kylpyhuone pois keittiöstä. Se on avoin pohjaratkaisu, jossa keittiö, ruokasali ja olohuone ovat avoinna toisilleen.

Tällä tasolla on myös kannella näkymä järvelle ja propaanigrilli. Olohuoneessa on sinikivipintainen takka (polttopuut mukana) ja seinälle asennettava 42 tuuman taulutelevisio DVD-soittimella.

Talo on asetettu mäkeä ja alatason takana on alle luokan. Kolme muuta puolta ovat avoinna pihalle. Alemman tason etuosa on talon järvenrannalle ja on auki. Siinä on toinen kansi, josta löydät porealtaamme.

Sisältä löydät toisen makuuhuoneen (yksi queen bed), viidennen makuuhuoneen (kaksi erillistä vuodetta) ja täyden kylpyhuoneen. Perhehuone, jossa on toinen 42 ”taulutelevisio ja DVD-soitin, on samalla tasolla kuin pesutupa. Talon molemmat televisiot vastaanottavat DIRECTV-satelliittitelevisiota HBO: n ja Showtimen kanssa. Verkkoasemat (ABC, CBS, FOX ja NBC) ovat New Yorkista.

Paikallinen sää
Kun otetaan huomioon keski-Catskill-alueen sijainti, saamme hyötyä melko lievistä lämpötiloista kesäkuukausina (80-luvut päivällä ja korkeat 60-luvut / matalat 70-yöt yöllä), minkä vuoksi meillä ei ole ilmastointia. Meillä on useita kattotuulettimia ja runsaasti ikkunoita.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Lago House. The property sits right on the lake, offering gorgeous views that made each morning feel peaceful and refreshing. The home itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained — the highlight for us was the hot tub and the cozy fireplace, which made the space feel warm and inviting.Our host was incredibly kind and communicated clearly from start to finish, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. During our stay it began to snow, and the quiet snowfall over the lake made our getaway feel magical and serene. It was the perfect setting to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of winter by the fire.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Lago House to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil lakeside retreat.

Family get away

For a large family and two dogs in a love with the water this was a perfect location for us. The property was well cared for. Any issues the property manager was easily available. Lake was a little small for our taste but overall was able to get some sailing in on a sunfish and lots of paddle boarding and kayaks. Thanks to Troy for his hospitality

Home base to explore the region

We had a wonderful stay at Lago House. There was plenty of space to spread out and the teens enjoyed having their own hang out and sleeping space on the lower level while the adults shared the upper level. All of the amenities listed were accurate to the listings and the beds were comfortable! We enjoyed swimming, boating and traveling to Hobart Book Village, Cooperstown and the Catskill Rail Trail!

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our needs. Our family had a blissful week of lake time, coffee on the deck overlooking the water, campfires in the evening, and time to relax in the hot tub. A trip to the National Baseball Hall of Fame was an easy and pretty drive away. The house was exactly as described and was the perfect quiet and remote spot that we wanted. We would definitely recommend Lago House.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Lago House. Our grandkids had such a great time that they asked about coming back! Only one suggestion: The property slopes to the water in the back, and it would be helpful if the stone steps were evenly placed instead of uneven, we are in our 60's and fearful of stepping on them and falling in the uneven condition they are in. Other than that, Troy was a super host and very responsive. Thank you Troy!

Beautiful Family & Friends Getaway

The house was a perfect layout to host our multi-family getaway weekend. There was enough space and privacy for each family to have their own little section, including bathrooms! We all gathered in the common area and kitchen for games and meals. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake while playing a game of catch outside.

We booked this place because had a hot tub and it was in the middle of 2 sisters home, it’s huge, love the the lay out, love the property, it has a hot tub, BUT when we stayed it was not working, so the owner was kind enough to reimburse some money.

Perfect Summer Getaway

Our family had a great time at Lago house this summer! House is spacious enough for everyone, even allowing an uncle with health issues to have his own bedroom and bathroom suite which was great. House was very clean when we arrived, and was fully stocked with most of the things you would need to cook and serve a large group. The yard and lake are amazing. We floated all week on our standup paddle boards brought from home but did use one of the rowboats which worked out well for fishing. We all agreed we would come back and spend more time there in the future. Troy is great and even reached out to see how everything was going. Can't wait to get back up there!

One of our best vacations

This house exceeded all expectations! It is so spacious - the downstairs rec room with comfy couch, extra tv and ping pong table were a complete surprise to us! The adults and the kids had so much room to hang out and have fun. The kitchen is huge - lots of cooking and cocktail making happened here. Family game night around the extra large dining room table was my favorite. You can't beat the view and we can't wait to come back in summer and enjoy a thawed out lake - although we did have a lot of fun dancing on it while it was frozen solid. Thank you, Troy, for sharing your home with us! Check in/out information was so helpful and he definitely went above and beyond by providing packing tips and local recommendations.

Wonderful getaway for a big group

I booked the Lago House for a holiday trip with a group of 9 adults, and we were so impressed by the size of the house — we all felt like we had our own space while still having the chance to hang out in the two generously sized living rooms, and could share meals together at the huge dining table and open kitchen. Since we were there in the winter with snow on the ground, we didn't have as much of a chance to use the backyard, but it's huge and would be amazing in the summertime (same with the two deck levels). We did get a chance to use the hot tub on the lower deck, which was awesome. The lake is so quiet, and the area is removed enough to feel peaceful, while still being accessible to local amenities. We had an issue with heating in the living area of the house upon our arrival due to the recent deep freeze in New York, but Troy was extremely responsive and helpful, and had maintenance technicians sent out immediately to rectify the issue. He was kind enough to check in several times to ensure we were comfortable once the issue was fixed. This is a wonderful rental for a large group or family, and I'd definitely book it again if we return to the area in the future.

FUN & RELAXING!

The house was great! VERY clean, and lots of room for everyone to have space or gather together. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with pots/pans and other necessities. The access to the lake was perfect! We brought kayaks and used the rowboats, the boys enjoyed fishing. We spent a beautiful day in Cooperstown and visited the Baseball Hall of Fame (about 40 minutes away). The hot tub was great! We had AWESOME weather all week! The only thing I would recommend is to bring your own beach/soccer chairs if you want to sit by the fire pit. There are benches (which become a little uncomfortable after a while) and the two chairs that are there are not in great shape. We had a great time making smores, but I wish we had more comfortable seating. Troy is very responsive and my gang asked if we could go back (which is a HUGE compliment!). Great place to unwind and have a true vacation from everyday life!

Perfect place for our yearly girls trip!

We spent a wonderful weekend on this property. From the ample room inside of the house, to the gorgeous sunrise from the dock, to the much needed hot tub relaxation on the deck, this house made our weekend stay perfect! A group of us gathered to have a weekend trip and go to a concert, and it was the perfect location to do that. We have already decided to return hopefully next year. Very peaceful location!

Beautiful Lake House

We had a great weekend at the Lago House. It was clean and spacious and perfect for a gathering of 6 friends. The weather was fantastic and the lake was beautiful.

Quiet and relaxing

Very quiet spot on lake. Nice to sit outside on the back deck overlooking the lake and watch the sunset. There is a hot tub, but weather was way too hot to enjoy it. About an hour from Albany and half hour from Oneonta.

Even Better the 2nd Time

This was our 2nd time staying at Troy's place and it was excellent yet again. If you're a fresh water angler, the fishing is really good. Large Mouth Bass and pickerel are hearty and abundant. We also came across a few Small Mouth Bass and yellow perch during our weekend. Bald Eagles and Osprey hovering around the lake everyday. The night time sky is quite a sight as well, especially if you're from an area with a lot of light pollution like we are. This is a nice change of scenery. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Family Christmas

Our family was looking for a place to spend time together and be able to bring our dogs. This place was very comfortable for all of us. We celebrated our early Christmas with love and lots of memories.

We are a family of five and live and work in New York City. Our three children are in grade school and love spending time at Lago House. We use the house quite a bit and some of the blocked-out dates are times we will be using the house.

Our favorite activities are swimming and fishing on the lake (the kids love looking for worms and night-crawlers to use as bait), taking day trips to Cooperstown, NY and skiing at three area ski resorts (Plattekill, Hunter, and Windham). There are a number of nature trails nearby as well.

Our home is located on a two-acre lot that feels and looks like a park. Most of our lawn is flat and there is a gentle slope from the lawn into the lake. Having 210’ of walk-out lake access is very unique. The water is very shallow for a good 10’-12’ from shore, which is ideal if you are traveling with children. Additionally, the lake is private with no public access. There are just 10 homes on the lake and it feels very secluded. The surrounding area is rural and is mostly working farmland.

Spring brings the start of hiking season and great fishing. The summer months time spent on the lake are wonderful. Swimming, fishing and having a picnic lakeside during the day or bonfire in evening and watching the stars at night all make for very special memories. Day trips to go golfing, hiking, fly fishing in local streams and checking out the Ommegang Brewery in Cooperstown, either before or after a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame are other ways to fill your time away.

During the Fall the “Leaf Peeping” is at a peak, it's just sweater weather and the fish are still biting, and, besides, you get to take advantage of all of the farm stands before they close! During the winter, snowfall transforms our property into a wonderland. The two-acre property is great for sleds and we try to take full advantage of our location and visit Plattekill, Windham or Hunter Mountain.
