Kodin mukavuus odottaa vierailua kauniisti remontoidussa, ilmastoidussa yhden makuuhuoneen, yhden kylpyammeen rannalla sijaitsevassa huoneistossa. Rentoudu yksityisellÀ Lanai-alueella merinÀköalalla ja Molokai-saarella valtameren kanavan yli. Katso merikilpikonnat, delfiinit ja kypÀrÀt (marraskuusta huhtikuuhun) leikillÀ. Leijalautailijat, purjelautailijat, melontalautailijat ja surffaajat kokoontuvat yleisesti lomakeskuksen edessÀ olevaan lahtion saamaan iltapÀivÀkaupan tuulet. We could’ve spent the whole week on the deck looking out over the water at Moloka’i! Very laid back resort, great for just relaxing. Only the sounds of maintenance and landscape workers during the morning/early afternoon hours to contend. Easy access by car to all the goings-on from Lahaina to Kapalua. We’ll be coming back!

Lovely Location and Condo

Loved this condo for its ocean view and sound of the surf. Quiet location away from the road with a really well equipped kitchen and walking access to a lovely happy hour restaurant on the beach at an adjacent hotel. Lanai is shady all day making it cool in the condo without need for air conditioning.Would definitely come again!W except at night

Very clean, detail oriented, and very responsive owners.

This was our first time to Lahaina and we had a great experience. We came for our honeymoon and we’re not disappointed. Missing a beach front and the construction was an inconvenience, but still a great time.

Great Condo with Amazing View

We were very impressed with this condo and with the way the owners handled everything. The condo is tastefully decorated and the unit has been updated. The location is great! We enjoyed the pool and it was never overcrowded which was nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable and cozy!

Fantastic condo with everything a couple needs during their stay on Maui. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the lanai overlooking the spectacular ocean view. We saw whales almost every morning. Owners were always very easy to get ahold of if we had any questions. Would absolutely love to stay here again when we return to Maui.

Great Place with amazing views

We truly enjoyed our stay and the property. It was a 5 star plus for everything from the moment we booked it. The owner was so helpful right from start and their condo was definitely a 5 star plus. It was very clean, organized and it has amazing views. We stayed for 2 weeks with us eloping and Honeymoon as well we couldn't have had a better time or stay with such a great host. This condo is perfect. We just spent one week there. Upon our arrival everything was very clean and well organized. Everything you could possibly need is here including chairs for the beach, coolers, and recreational items. It is on the quiet side of the building and the sunset is amazing. The owners checked with us to see if we needed anything. Excellent location away from the crowds but close enough to everything . We definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful condo

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. I can't think of one item that was not provided. We liked sitting on the lanai and spotting whales passing by. We enjoyed the pool and met many other friendly guests and owners. We have stayed at many VRBOs and David was by far the best host we have ever encountered. He responded quickly to answer any questions or concerns. Definitely looking forward to returning someday.

Home away from home

I have never seen the ocean, let alone fly in a plane so I started researching Maui years ago. Comparing so many other places to stay, even on other websites, this place came at the top of the list with price, view, accommodations, location, etc. You truly feel like you are house siting for someone! You won’t need to buy pesky things like dish soap, seasonings, sunscreen, rent coolers or beach chairs, they have everything there. On top of that, the view!! You can see turtles from the lanai along with the sunset every night. We felt so comfortable there & we already miss it so much. I hope the owners are proud of this place! You can tell they put so much love and thought into this condo. Mahalo for the greatest experience!

Nice condo with a wonderful view

Everything about this rental property was great. The communication with the owners was great. I received all kinds of information regarding Maui. The condo itself was well maintained. If there was any negative, it was the bed. Just a personal preference wishing it was firmer.

Great condo and location, beautiful view!

We just got home from 8 days in Maui and this condo was just perfect for us! Very clean, very well equipped with everything you need for the beach as well and at home. Wonderful view, we could see the sunset from the lanai and it was fun to watch kite surfers as well as a few turtles swimming by. David and Nancy have put together a wealth of information that was very helpful and they are quick and answering any questions, great hosts! The only thing missing from this place is a beach walk out from the property but that is just nature's fault and it is very easy to walk or drive to nearby beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

First property in Maui for a repeat stay

Over 15 years of staying in numerous locations in Maui, this is the first place I have said "I would stay here again". Oceanfront, lanai is in shade at all times during the day. A plus for keeping the condo cool. Owners are super responsive if something needs repair. Broken ceiling fan replaced in less than 24 hours after reported, you can't ask for better response time. Location to beaches and restaurants is great.

Beautiful stay in Maui

It was our first trip to Maui. And this stay is the best that we could choose. This apartment provides you great view and sound of the ocean. Great location ( close to everything , has close entry to the little beach, Bobs Snorkel store, Grocery store, Maui Brewing Co, great Coffee Shop with delicious Banana bread and Bagels) with bust stop right from of the Resort. Bust 28 will take you everywhere you need, just check the schedule prior you trip. Great atmosphere, design and super clean! Definitely will be back. Thank you David!

Great stay. View was fantastic of the sunsets, ocean, boats, and turtles. The condo itself was very clean, the cooking utensils, pots, pans, you name it they were of great quality. The bed and furnishings were comfortable. Dishwasher, laundry washer and dryer, stove, microwave, and refrigerator all very nice. David provided lots of information about the local area. Restaurant, snorkeling, hiking and beach going ideas. Everything was fantastic and we had zero complaints. We would stay there again for sure. 9th floor was very quiet and perfect to just relax and enjoy.

Awesome stay at this Condo

Our vacation was really great in Maui. We were there this week and stayed at David and Nancy’s condo. Lovely place, very clean with all amenities. Right before the trip David sent a bunch of information which was very useful and also answered promptly for any questions or queries. Their place is a true ocean view. Every morning we had breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean and turtles were swimming in it. This is a lovely place for a small family. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will ever need to cook your meals. It even has all the small appliances like rice cooker, blender etc. My family loved this place as well. The whole facility is well kept. Their pool is heated so nice to soak up at night after you swam in the ocean. We all had a great time in Maui. Thanks to the lovely hosts. If we ever come back I will look up for David’s place again.

Perfect!

The condo was perfect for our family of four! We took our grandsons for their first time to Maui. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The beach and pool were perfect for their swimming needs. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and fun. Even the kitchen is fully equipped that I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner! But I don't just recommend this condo for the location and view, but also for the extremely helpful communication from the owners - Dave recommended everything from great restaurants to good snorkeling beaches. We tried many of the restaurants recommended and found great snorkeling at the beach in Napili. If you like snorkeling I highly suggest you check out Napili. We even paid for the expensive trip out to Molokini, but saw a lot more fish and turtles at Napili. Thank you for sharing your place!

A home away from home

As soon as we walked through the door of the condo we could tell that this was not just any condo but someone's home that they love and care for. The condo was furnished to a high standard and very well equipped. I wish I could have brought the bed home with me it was so comfy! The view from the balcony was stunning and we saw turtles frequently swim past. At night we switched the air conditioning off and opened up the bedrooms windows to be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. It is a pretty quiet resort compared to those further south in Kaanapali but this suited us perfectly as we were looking for some quiet down time. My husband was also super impressed at how clean the bbqs were down by the pool. The information provided by the hosts regarding directions, beaches, snorkelling, shopping, etc was helpful and very much appreciated as was the follow up email to make sure everything was in order.

What a wonderful place to stay!

Thank you David and Nancy for sharing your lovely home with us! From the moment we first entered we were struck by the beautiful ocean view. We were in Maui to do tours to watch the whale migration and were surprised and delighted by how many humpbacks we were able to see each day just from the lanai. We sat out there with our binoculars every morning during breakfast —a wonderful way to start each day. There are also turtles who like to eat of the rocks at the water’s edge. This condo was the cleanest and among the most comfortable condominiums we’ve stayed in on the island. It was equipped with everything we needed and then some. Thoughtful care and attention to detail was apparent in every room. I really appreciated how there were books out for reading and reference, especially the ones on humpback whales and local birds. David was very communicative and gave us a lot of helpful information about things to do and places to eat beforehand. He even touched base while we were there and was a joy to deal with. The grounds at the Royal Kahana were quiet and well kept, the pool area was nice and clean with plenty of seating for lounging or watching sunsets and parking was a breeze. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Whale of a Time in Paradise

This was our first time in Hawaii and it was full of wonderful memories. Our hosts David and Nancy could not have been more helpful. David sent information that was so helpful for us to plan our days. They came under several different headings which included - Pre-Vacation important information / Best Beaches / Dining / Snorkel locations / Whale watching boats they recommended etc. And it is one thing to get great information but often they came with precise directions and time from the resort, where applicable, by walking or driving. We shopped for groceries from recommendations from our hosts allowing us to be able to have most meals in. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for eat in meals. You also have the choice of having a quick Keurig coffee in the morning or a drip coffee if that is your preference. We were here because we were so interested to go on a whale watching expedition. David recommended one Whale watching company, with a very knowledgeable staff, so we truly loved seeing these majestic sea creatures and hearing all the information about them. From our 9th floor suite we could also see much whale activity out on the Ocean. Being right on the ocean we could enjoy hours on our deck looking at the sparking blue/green water as the surf splashed to the shore. Glorious sunsets can be seen from the pool area or a 5 minute walk down the street from the resort to a public access beach. This is a very well built resort - we did not hear noise from the suites above or beside us. And it’s location was very close to downtown seaside Lahaina going 15 minutes South or 10 minutes North to Kapalua. ka-anapali and Napili were even closer. Hotel resorts on the ocean are much more expensive than this wonderful YRBO. This option made coming to Hawaii affordable for us and this is why we can say we certainly had a Whale of a Time on Maui thanks to our great HOSTS David and Nancy. This condo is perfect and just as advertised. The location is beautiful and the view is breathtaking !! The host are very responsive and gave us great recommendations for the area. This place is comfortable and we will absolutely be back to stay here. I highly recommend this place and would give it 6 stars if I could !!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was unbeatable. The condo is oceanfront in Maui with prime views of both sunrise and sunset. We even caught a rainbow and watched turtles swimming right from our lanai. The beautiful location made every morning and evening magical.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, extremely well-stocked, and equipped with great appliances. The AC worked perfectly, and there were also extra fans available for when we wanted additional airflow. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches. There were lots of hangers, closet and drawer space, plenty of pillows, extra linens, and a washer/dryer that made our stay even more comfortable.The pool was wonderful, and we met such kind and friendly people there as well as other VRBO guests. The welcoming atmosphere really made it feel like a community. But there was peace and quiet when we didn’t feel like talking.Every day we woke up happy in this place. Between the gorgeous views, the comfort of the apartment, and the prime location, this was the perfect Maui getaway. The owners are amazing and their professional yet friendly communication gave us confidence in where we were staying.We were staying at this condo during the tropical storm after hurricane Kiko and even though it was occasionally overcast, each day while we were there was sunny and warm in this location. It is a gem and we look forward to going back.

ABOUT DAVID & NANCY LOWERY - Renting our home with VRBO/Home Away is new to us. As a private host we thought we would make it available to guests so others can experience paradise as we have. We live in southern Michigan (Eastern Time Zone). We're both retired, I from a major auto company and wife Nancy from a career as a Registered Nurse at a major Detroit area Hospital. We are blessed with two adult children and four grandchildren. Family is most important in our lives. We love the Royal Kahana Resort for its convenient location with beaches, golf, dinning and exploring. We are close to the excitement of Kaanapali Beach but not in it.

Why the Royal Kahana you might ask? There were many reasons such as the condominiums are air conditioned, it is within walking distance to dining and shopping and the view from our 9th floor lanai is what memories are made of. The Resort location can't be beat. The resort is quiet, and relaxing compared to the mega resorts. The spacious beautiful grounds and pool area are the envy of other condominium resorts. At the others, try to find 4 lounge chairs available. No problem at the Royal Kahana. There is public bus service to the Royal Kahana but we recommend renting a car during your stay so you can fully explore the island as you wish. You are minutes away from more shopping, dining, sightseeing and/or activities than you can imagine not to mention all of the top entertainment on the Island. The on-sight Concierge can help with planning. If you have an afternoon free, the coastal drive north from the resort is stunningly beautiful. Look for that two-track trail leading off the road to that hidden beach. If you are a golfer, famous courses are within minutes. Hiking and snorkel are another option.

The Royal Kahana building is shaped so each condo has ocean views. It is one of few condominiums with central air conditioning. The floor plan of the individual condominium is perfect. Our 1-bedroom unit accommodates 4 people. It's perfect for two couples since the bath area can be closed off from the master bedroom and the living room for privacy. If you have a late sleeper in either the living room or the bedroom, access onto the Lanai can come directly from either room without disturbance. The living room sleeper sofa makes into a Queen size bed. We are on the 9th floor which is above the roof line of the neighboring building. This opens up views of the ocean, West Maui Mountains and the Kapalua Resort area. The views you won't forget. When we are not at the pool, a favorite pastime of ours is to sit on the lanai with a good book and a beverage and admire the island view of Molokai. Molokai is located across an ocean channel, a short 9 miles away. Watch the surfers, kite or sail boarders not to mention the Whales (in season), Sea Turtles and Dolphins at play. Proximity to the ocean is such you'll hear the surf with the windows open as you lie in bed at night. The building is made of concrete so its inherently quiet. We are close enough to the elevators for convenience but far enough, so you won't hear the annoying arrival ding.
