Seacliff Stay

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Seacliff Poolside Escape. The house easily accommodated 8 people with enough bedrooms and 2 lounge areas and great outdoor entertaining spaces. There was a fire pit area out back and good BBQ area. We were so impressed by the BBQ, we ended up buying one ourselves when we returned home. The house contained alot of toys and games for children and had many household items. It is an older house and the furniture is quite used and some coverings damaged, but functional. Location is great, close to shopping centers and very close to the Brighton Hotel and the beach. The house backs onto a park and playground area. One issue we were not happy with was cleanliness. The bathrooms, loungerooms, toilets and kitchen were clean, but the bedrooms were not with really dirty floors. In the main bedroom with the ensuite bathroom, the wardrobes were full of dust and cobwebs, the floors dirty and sadly when we were checking the drawers before leaving, found a used sanitary pad in the drawer next to the bed. Made us feel sick that we had been sleeping next to it. We did the right thing and removed it, but if we are paying $300 for cleaners, then we expect a clean house. The outside of the house could do with a good clean up, with huge spiderwebs around a lot of the windows. We feel we left the house in a significantly cleaner state than when we found it, as we vacuumed the floors and wardrobes. This definitely reflected in our rating for cleanliness. We've tried to be fair in how we scored the other questions, as overall we did have an enjoyable stay.
