The Space:
The floor plan of this 60’s brick-veneer home is laid across one level, with just a few stairs to the front door. Walking through the front doors of this retro retreat and to the left of the hall we have the lounge room filled with timber and cute floral couches, there are 3 lounge chairs a two seater couch in the middle, looking onto the Smart TV, with Free WIFI Available, a ceiling fan and lamps to make the perfect reading nooks (gas heater not in use).
Off the lounge is the dining area with a 5 seater wooden dining table and air conditioner that services the house, alongside the renovated kitchen. The fresh kitchen has all the items you need to prepare a family meal or get ready for the day with a Espressotoria piccolo coffee machine, gas stove top, oven, microwave, rice cooker, kettle, toaster and all the crockery and utensils needed.
Exiting the kitchen and into the hallway which wraps around to the front of the home, with rear access next to the updated laundry which hosts a washer/dryer and vanity followed by the other wet areas including a separate water closet.
The Main Bathroom leans into a Victorian style with the patterned tiles and claw foot bath where you can enjoy a glass of wine and read a book leaning on the caddy. The bathroom also includes a shower, sink, bench and hairdryer.
Following the hallway around you have the third bedroom which consists of a double bed, bedside tables, ceiling fan, wooden makeup vanity, chair, built in robe and bookshelf fit with many books to read during your stay.
Next up you have the second bedroom fit with a double bed and bedside tables with a view over the back yard.
By the front door you have the spacious main bedroom which consists of a queen bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a wooden desk and chest with beautiful carved designs, a large built in wardrobe and ceiling fan.
Stepping back out the front door you have the large front yard with lush grass and lovey garden bed. There is also a generous secure back yard accessed via the side gate or through the back door, hosting more turfed space, a clothes line up the back corner and little seating area. Giving children or a small pooch ample space to play or a spot to host a quiet get together.
No garage access, free parking on street and in driveway in front of garage.

Guest Access
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 48 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect. There is NO access to the garage at this property, free parking on street.
The Neighbourhood
Located on Cuthbert Ave in the suburb of Highton this retro retreat is perfectly located with a few local eateries, post office and op shop a minute walk around the corner, including Porter Ave Pies & Cakes, Fish & Chips, Pane di Matteo Bakery and Geelong Smoked Brisket. A 3 min drive to Highton Shops and Reserve, 6 min drive to Waurn Ponds Shopping centre and 13 minute drive into Geelong CBD.
Getting Around
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible around the corner, about a 5 min walk from the property, where you can catch route 42 Geelong Station – Deakin University via South Valley Rd. Ubers are also readily available in this area.
