*** Yksittäinen huoneistomme selvisi Irmasta hyvin, ollessa 6. kerroksessa ja pyörittäen hurrikaani-ikkunaluukut ympäri. Lokit ovat jälleenrakentamassa. Allas ja hissit ovat taas toiminnassa. Yhteisten tilojen käsittely jatkuu jonkin aikaa. Tähän sisältyy kuntosali ja pelihuone. Tenniskentät ovat kadonneet, eikä niitä rakenneta uudelleen. Suurin osa Keys-baareista ja ravintoloista on taas täysin toiminnassa, ja jotkut uudet ovat syntyneet.
Jos etsit mukavaa puhdasta merinäköalapaikkaa yläavaimissa, meillä on se. Alue on toipunut huomattavasti hyvin Irmasta.
 ************* Nauti Florida Keysin ainutlaatuisesta trooppisesta kauneudesta tästä päätelaitehuoneistosta. Omalla parvekkeella näet henkeäsalpaavat auringonnousut ja auringonlaskut. Selaa horisonttia turkoosi meren yli purje- ja kalastusaluksille, merilintuille ja delfiineille. Vietä päivä heiluttavien kämmenten alla meren rannalla lämmitettyssä uima-altaassa tai hiekkarannalla.

Nauti Abaco 135-tandem-13 'kajakin ilmaisesta käytöstä loman aikana. Se sopii erinomaisesti kevyeen tavaroiden kalastukseen tai tutustuen johonkin lähellä olevista mangrovesaarista. * Kajakinistuimia / selkänojaa ei toimiteta. kajakkia voidaan käyttää ilman niitä, mutta istuimen selkänojaa suositellaan. Tuo omat kajakkipaikan selkäsi parhaan kokemuksen saamiseksi.

Oleskelusi tulee olemaan erittäin mukava tässä trooppisesti sisustetussa ammenity-tyylikkäässä huoneistossa, jossa on oma makuuhuone, jossa on kaapeli-TVCR merinäköalalla ja lahdelle. Se muuntuu kahdeksi makuuhuoneeksi olohuoneessa sisäänvedettävän seinän kautta. Tässä mahtuu kaksi aikuista, jotka käyttävät queen-size-vuodesohvaa. Siinä on myös DVD-soitin, josta on näkymät merelle liukulasiovista. Yksityisen makuuhuoneen (parisänky) lisäksi siinä on myös kaksi puoliksi yksityistä kapteenin punkkaa, jotka ovat aivan lapsille ja teini-ikäisille. Siinä on täysin varustettu karibialla sisustettu keittiö ja ruokailutila sekä kaikki muut mukavuudet, jotta tunteisit olosi kotoisaksi trooppisella lomalla. Do yourself a favor, book and go!
I still can’t believe we found this little slice of heaven! We had a phenomenal time and really appreciated every aspect of our stay. The condo was clean, light,airy and practical … The area is perfect blend of views, accessibility and amenities. We ate on the balcony every morning before going to the gym, hanging out by the amazing pool and then spending our day exploring! One of the best vacations we’ve ever had and it all started with renting this place…

It was everything we knew it would be
Think is our secret time staying here. Lou and Jeanette are the best. Always a clean and attractive, well appointed space. Beautiful ocean view, watching the sun rises, and it's a short drive to many of Islamorada's best fishing and entertainment spots. We particularly enjoyed Robbies, and Lorilai's. Hog Heaven was an unexpected bright spot for great late night food and music. The condo is right next to the high school, but any noise or activity while we were there was minumal and actually pleasant. We can't wait to come back again!

GORGEOUS SUNRISES
Would rate this property 5 stars if we had use of the balcony as listed/pictured. Due to the balcony structure project going on for several months now we were not able to use it for our entire 2 week stay. Aside from that everything else was great about the property, the pool, the friendly condo community, gorgeous views. We really ended up enjoying watching all of the sports on the high school athletic field in the evenings.

Beautiful place!!!
Everything was perfect!! View us beautiful! Yes, you can see the football field but a lot of the ocean too!! The property is so peaceful and gorgeous. The residents are just lovely. Everyone was so kind! The condo is decorated beautifully. Its a little bit of a walk to elevator but not that bad at all. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a VRBO. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. I wish every kitchen was supplied like theirs. We do a lot of cooking and it very important to us. Islamorada is our favorite place to stay in the Keys! Now this condo is too! Will definitely stay again!!

Mixed feelings
The property at this price point is pretty good. However there’s still major repairs being done to the balconies and that left us uneasy about sitting on it. Otherwise the pool and grounds are well kept. This unit is on the far side of the elevators and could be difficult to access for people with disabilities (I am disabled) and concerning the high school that “backs up to the propert” it’s more like next door and not back door with a very clear view of the football field. That wasn’t a problem for us as we have 4 children and 7 grandchildren that all were into sports I played 10 years coached 15 years and now I get to be grandpa and sit in the stand’s LOL so if you’re good with the cons like I said at the price it’s fine. I’d probably come back if I’m down there again. OH AND DID I MENTION THE SUNRISE!!!!! Beautiful from the balcony

WARNING - AUGUST 2023 - CONSTRUCTION IS STILL GOING ON at the ENTIRE COMPLEX. And will be for probably several months. The complex is shoring up every balcony on every floor. This unit is on the 6th floor. 12 units on each floor. The noise between 8am and 5pm during the week makes sitting outside unbearable. This was not disclosed until 3 days before arrival - which is 57 days past being able to cancel! Place was not not clean. Sleeps 2 adults plus 2 kids? ha ha ha - if you want your kids sleeping in a converted closet on narrow bunk beds. won't be back.

It was good. Not great. But for the price…
The listing shows half the view, the other half is a football field. Also there were no carts available when we arrived and we had to schlep all our stuff and groceries the entire length of the building. The pool was great though and clean and a nice temperature and made the schlepping worth it.

Came down to scuba dive. property is behind a school on opposite sides of athletic field which kept school noise to minimal levels. close to our scuba shop (Conch Republic), several restaurants, Winn-Dixie and CVS. 9 foot deep swimming pool! Kayaks, mini-island to visit close in the bay. two glitches: our property owner had an error in our email and we had to do several last minute texts/emails to get in to the property. unit was out of extra toilet paper which we had to buy. very reasonable price, would rent in again for sure.

Relax with the iguanas at the pool
Excellent location. We stayed 14 days in this one bedroom one bath unit on the top and at the end on the sixth floor. Some construction on the last few days of our stay. Lots of steps to elevator, quiet and well run condo with all the pots and pans you will need. Clean and in good repair although dated. Comfy bed, plenty of towels. Steps from the Atlantic with sunrise from the balcony. The mangroves are fun in the kayak and one couple said they saw a manatee. Thanks for the stay we had fun and relaxed. The hurricane missed this location.

Great Views and amenities
We spent a week in Lou's condo and really enjoyed it. The layout of a 1 bedroom was very spacious. There are many upgrades happening at the facility, including the pool, so we weren't able to use that. But the Gym and game room were fantastic. The kayaking right off the beach was easy with a ramp and steps available and a great little island easy enough to get too. We really didn't have any laundry, but the laundry uses coins only and no coin machine, so be aware of that. The check in process is a little funky due to the property management. Make sure you get paperwork from Lou and from property management ahead of time. Other than that, key fobs and digital locks made coming and going easy.

Great stay, pool out of commission
Husband and I wanted to visit the Keys for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. Just a note however, we were there the last week of July (Sat to Fri) 2022 and one of the reasons we booked this condo was for the pool because we knew we wanted to spend some of our time exploring, but then wanted to also 'relax by the pool'. This is absolutely no fault of the condo owner, Capt. Lou, he was great to communicate with (via email), but the day before we were set to arrive we were informed the pool needed emergency repairs and was not in use. He was told by the association it would be 'ready' by Tuesday during our visit. I can tell you, no one even worked on the pool until just before we were leaving. Can't say if the pool is ready now, but it was not while we were there...that was our only disappointment. Again, that was out of the owner's control. He recommended Founder's Park, which I also recommend, as it was a great little place to experience an Olympic sized pool as well as a small beach area. The condo itself was great for the 2 of us, had all the amenities we could need. Check in was easy, as someone else noted make sure you fill out the form and get it to the condo association prior to your stay...will make it a lot easier. We did visit Key West which was great, was about a 2hr drive...so not bad at all. Great vacation overall, again our only disappointment was the pool. Anything we needed was well within traveling distance.

Islamorada for fun
I enjoyed my stay in Islamorada and I was very pleased with my rental. The unit was cozy and clean, and it was fully equipped. The location is behind the high school, so it’s a little out of the way. The facility also has many people who live their full time, so the combination makes it a quiet place. That is good if you are older, but it is probably not a good place for young revelers and partiers. The unit is perfect for 1-2 people but would be crowded with more people. Everything in the unit works well too. All communication was seamless, and the owner was polite. I will definitely rent again

I have owned this property for 21 years. It's beautiful in Islamorada. The view from the balcony is great. We love to fish, dive, dine out and visit areas of interest unique to the Keys.
