Clean and beautiful

We had a great stay! We cooked in the beautiful kitchen and enjoyed sitting outside by the pool. Everything was clean and nicely decorated to make our stay comfortable.

Home was clean and very spacious. Would definitely come back. Dennis the host, followed through in a timely fashion making the trip easy and smooth!

Disappointed

Great area. The biggest challenge was the cleanliness and lack of responsiveness / support to resolve the issue. We arrived in the evening to find the house very dirty. The first thing we noticed was the floor, so we messaged the host, and eventually googled the hosting company to find a number to call, who then did come over to mop the floor while we decided to step out for dinner. After we came back, we noticed the bathrooms were disgusting (hair in the tubs, toilets clearly hadn’t been cleaned), which we then spent hours cleaning (with our own supplies) after being on the road 2 days to get there. We changed the sheets in one bed because of how much hair was in the sheets (not from us). When we called the host prior to us cleaning, he was emphatic the home was cleaned prior to our arrival. If so, it was disgusting and a new cleaning service should be considered. The host offered to come clean the house the next day, but we needed to use the house that night, so we ended up cleaning all the bathrooms and kitchen. Additionally, one room had a foul enough odor that after a few days, we just stopped using it. Several of the other rooms had a strong foul odor as well. The owners did stop by and were very kind and responsive when maintenance items were identified. We stayed here for 30+ days due to a corporate relocation and overall, yes, this is a pet-friendly location, but based on the cleanliness challenges, this was a very stressful stay for our family.

Disappointment

The pool was great once we cleaned it. We had a good time after we got over the disappointment of no hot tub, no bikes, and having to clean the pool and the bath tub. Which we had to buy cleaner for. I had to barrow garbage bags, and paper towels, from my son. It was one thing after another the garbage disposal and dishwasher was leaking. Chairs were broken. I am not usually a complainer but it was a lot. When texting with Dennis, he only answered part of our problems. While questioning him about the hot tub he took it off the list and said it was a typeo . I took pictures of everything and tried to send them to him but it wouldn’t let me. It said only the owner could do this. The weather helped making up for not letting it ruin our time there. Sorry to be so negitive but when you pay that much for a place it should have what it says and be clean. Thanks Patty
