Fabulous villa in a perfect location
From the very start of booking this lovely villa, Jane & Keith could not have been more helpful; they are the perfect hosts & I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here again. Communication was very good, the villa was fabulous, clean & in a perfect location. Great little pool which was perfect for when it gets too hot (an outside shower was fab too). It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach and the start of a small ‘strip’ which has enough restaurants & bars to suit all. There are a few local supermarkets, and some larger ones within a short drive. The local beach is lovely.
There is a local larger swimming pool open to the public, which is within walking distance, all you need to do is buy a drink(s) at the bar in order to use the pool. We had lunch here, which was very nice.
There are some lovely restaurants within walking distance & Jane & Keith recommended an awesome place up in the mountains with a spectacular view; well worth visiting, but I would suggest ordering a taxi (again, something that Jane & Keith helped us with).
We hired a car for the duration of our stay; probably didn’t need to for all the days, but it’s not far to get to anywhere. A visit to Paleokastritsa is definitely worth it, but make sure you leave early if you want to get parked & on the beach!
