Alongside the original, early 19th-century oriel and bay windows, original fireplaces and open staircase are modern amenities: a newly fitted kitchen in an apothecary style (with top-of-the-range induction hob), a walk-in shower and luxurious, stand-free roll-top bath and a shady patio dining area set in a flower-filled garden. Melin Tregwynt blankets and Moroccan scatter cushions complement Georgian lounge chairs and a leather sofa in the spacious living room; heavy velvet curtains, Rennie Mackintosh soft furnishings and woollen blankets keep things intimate and cosy upstairs.
