Spacious apartment, ideal for a family or two couples based in the town centre.

No.6 is an apartment at the top of a recently renovated Victorian building on George St, Teignmouth. It is situated in the developing Arts Quarter, a treasure trove of independent shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs. A 5 minutes walk to beaches and the mainline train station.

The building has a communal entrance hall, a very well appointed stairway and lift to the third floor.

The main reception room has a seating area for chilling in front of the tv. A dining table next to the galley kitchen provides space to spread out the papers on a lazy weekend morning or to set up a fiercely competitive board game or cards.

Wooden flooring in all the shared areas means you can relax about slightly sandy feet and then enjoy the comfort of new carpets in the bedrooms.

The bedroom on the main floor has a travel cot if needed and the suite of bedroom and bathroom upstairs allows for some privacy and relaxation away from the main living area.

The basket of beach accessories should help you avoid last minute panics about buckets and spades. Please feel free to enjoy the books - use the fiction selection as a book drop and swap.

Fabulous place, perfect location

The lovely owner was so helpful on booking and answered all my questions. The apartment is stunning, a real home from home with super comfy beds and lovely decor and absolutely everything you’d need for a holiday. . It’s located in a quieter area of the town which was great but only a stones throw to everything with the beaches and shops all a few minutes walk away. The photos of the property actually don’t do it justice and it is very airy and such a lovely space to relax in. We will be staying here again without a doubt, it really made our short break away absolutely perfect. Thank you so much

Wonderful Flat in Central Teignmouth

We had a lovely break in Devon with family and the flat was exactly in the right spot for shopping, sight seeing, cafes and strolling along the promenade. It is also well located for the station. There is everything you need for a family break and the flat was very clean and well equipped. It was nice to have a virtual parking permit whilst in Teignmouth although a little more information about how it works would have been reassuring. As I was in the upstairs room by myself it was fine, but I wonder if a couple would prefer a bathroom door (and possibly a bedroom door?!). The headroom for the upstairs room might also be an issue for a taller person, but the photos show the beams very well (just be careful with the one over the bed). I also had an issue with getting the upstairs bath to drain, but overall the flat is very well appointed and with three bathrooms there is no problem in the mornings (or evenings) with everyone getting ready at the same time. Michele was a lovely (virtual) hostess and very helpful.

Great location, perfect host

Michele was brilliant at check-in and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was in a perfect town centre location with a small car park nearby. At the top of the building, the lift was very handy for luggage and there were 2 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms! Perfect for a short break away. Even in the quiet season restaurants were busy so we would advise booking ahead.
