Review for stay from 03 September 2022 to 17 September 2022
We have stopped in St Cyprien many times before but the place where we used to rent was sold, last year. We found this large apartment and it turned out to be a great alternative choice. The outdoor terrace areas are tremendous, with great views of the mountains, two dining tables, a good plancha, to cook on, and long, wooden sun beds, under a lovely pergoda.
Inside the apartment, there are two fridges, which helps when you are staying for an extended length of time. There is air conditioning in all the rooms and the seating area, in the lounge, is comfortable. The residence is also set in a very friendly community.
The only problem we had was mosquitos. These were not like any I have come across before. They were black, in colour. They were around all day long and they were silent. We lit citronella candles, covered ourselves with repellent, we had an insect zapper on, inside the apartment, but
we still got bitten 70 - 80 times in two weeks, between the both of us.
After all that, we both said we would love to rent the apartment again, next year. Unfortunately, when we were returning the keys to the agents, I spotted a picture on the agency window, saying that the apartment is up for sale, so that looks like it will not be available.
