This airy, open plan converted prune barn is set in stunning countryside, surrounded by sunflowers and fruit trees. A character property featuring a large garden, including an above ground swimming pool perfect for relaxing swims, enjoying stunning sunsets, dark sky observations and noting the local wildlife (deer, buzzard, wild boar). Or spend time taking in the views from your lounger or dining on the wisteria covered patio.
A car is a must to explore the numerous local attractions, historical, picturesque towns, recreation areas, catering for all ages, that this delightful region can offer.

The owners may from time to time occupy an adjacent property together with their 3 year old lab cross.

Beautiful location

A fantastic holiday in a beautiful location. The gite had everything that we needed and was really well equipped. Ben and Susan were perfect hosts, warm and welcoming, always there if we had any questions. We had many lazy days on the terrace and in the pool overlooking looking the stunning french countryside.

Super séjour dans cette maison

Nous avons passer 5 jours très agréables dans cette petite maison pour 4 personnes ( 2 chambres) Très bien équipée. Piscine agréable . Lieu très calme. Les hôtes, Ben et Suzan sont extremement gentils et a l’écoute . Nous recommandons !

A cosy and well designed French cottage with exclusive pool and very friendly owners.

We would highly recommend The Prune Barn gite without any hesitation or qualifications. It is a very well designed home and has a wonderful atmosphere as soon as you step through the door. Everything needed for everyday living is supplied, including bed linen (all beds are made up for visitors), swimming towels and kitchen utensils. It is truly a home from home. During the week we were staying, the owners were staying next door. They are most friendly and helpful and would be willing to share any local knowledge and information we require. And a child friendly and exclusive swimming pool overlooking the sunflower fields completes the picture. This is a charming house in a beautiful area of France which we would definitely like to return to in the future.
