Nice and well-equipped holiday home in Hölminge with panoramic views of Lake Bolmen. Down by the water you have access to a boat (10 feet). There is also a small beach for the public within walking distance of the cottage. The house has 3 bedrooms, one with a double sofa bed. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob. The bathroom has a power shower and the whole house has underfloor heating. Cost for consumed electricity will be added during your stay of 4 SEK / kWh.
At the back of the house there is a large terrace and glazed conservatory with lake views and large lawns for play and games. You live very close to nature but at the same time close to Ljungby.
Bolmen is Sweden's 10th largest lake with good fishing and swimming opportunities. Here there is pikeperch, pike and perch. At the harbor in Bolmstad there is a cozy waffle café during the summer. If, for example, you want to buy a fishing license, the nearest store, Lanthandeln, is in Tannåker. There is also a tennis court if interested.
Gavlö, which is also nearby, has a nice swimming area where you can take a dip and then continue towards Dannäs waffle coffee in Dannäs for another waffle break.
If you are interested in horses, horse riding is offered on Bolmsö. There is a cable car to Sunnaryd, which is a cozy place to stroll around in the afternoon. If you like to eat fish, it is worth visiting Tiraholms Fisk, where there is a smokehouse and fish restaurant. Unnaryd is also a nice place located by Lake Unnen where there are small shops to stroll around and then have dinner at the restaurant Alebo.
The nearest town Ljungby, which is 17 km away, offers restaurants, shopping and many museums such as. The Fairytale Museum and the Sven Ljungberg Museum. Also visit Minivärlden, a miniature museum. You can find a ceramics shop and Gästgivargården on Gamla torg.
If you are more interested in activities such as swimming in a swimming pool, outdoor and adventure swimming pool, mini golf and paddle, there is also Ljungby. Bring the children and feed moose in Hamneda, south of Ljungby, at Elinge Älgpark. At Markaryd there is also Smålandet which has a moose safari if it became a hit, and then ends with a coffee at Gräddhyllans Lantcafe.
If you like second hand, you must not miss the Slussen store, which also has a café. Nearby there is also a grocery store, Peter Sport which sells fishing licenses and fishing equipment and Laganland which has a souvenir shop, moose park and golf course.
