Located on the third storey of an historic building located on one of the quaint cobbled streets close to the main square, you will find Le Maria Venezia. This charming little apartment oozes character and its elevated position ensures spectacular sea views. If you wish to be at the centre of the old town to soak up the colour and culture, to be within a few minute's walk of cafes, restaurants, shops and, of course, the local beach, then Le Maria Venezia would serve as the perfect home from home on your stay in Corsica. Please note that due to the open staircase, the design of the mezzanine and sun terrace, this property is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Also please consider that parking is not possible outside apartment, however, there is parking provided at the nearby garage.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO YOUR ACCOMMODATION Please note that our driving directions are written with kilometre readings. It is therefore essential to reset your odometer as directed below. The kilometre readings given in these directions (shown in brackets) are only for guidance and may not be exact. We suggest that before you set off you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars it is electronic. To reset most of these models, press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. Please take care driving on these roads. From Ajaccio Airport (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes) 1. Where the airport side road meets the main T20, bear right and continue on the T20 when it veers left in a kilometre or so. This road takes you across the mountains to Corte (Corti) and then onto Ponte Leccia. 2. On arrival in Ponte Leccia you will come to a roundabout, where there is a Super U supermarket to your left. Take the 2nd exit, going straight ahead onto the T30 signposted to Ile Rousse and Calvi. 3. Continue on this road the T30 for approximately 29km this road reaches the coast and takes you to Ile Rousse (L'Isula Rossa). 4. As you approach Ile Rousse you will go over a railway track. Staying on the T30 continue through Ile Rousse town and go up the hill towards Calvi. 5. At the crest of the hill there is a roundabout and you will see Leclerc supermarket facing you. Take the 1st exit, turning right towards Le Port. Go down the hill over the speed bumps until you reach the sea front. 6. At the mini roundabout turn left towards Le Port and the Hôtel Santa Maria is the last building on the left, directly opposite the beach and a bar called Via Mare. Turn left here just before the hotel and the hotel parking is immediately on your right. 7. Once you have collected the keys from the hotel reception, go back out onto the main road, turn right along the seafront to the mini roundabout and retrace your steps by turning right heading back up the hill, signposted Toute Directions D513. 8. After 200m there is a Residence Luigina (large pink building) on the right-hand side, an apartment building with a large iron gate. (We recommend you leave a passenger here with the luggage to reduce walking distance to the property.) Open this gate using the orange button on the left (keys hanging down) of the remote control (you may have to exit the car and approach the control box to the right of the gate for the remote to work). Proceed down the slope and the entrance to the garages is on the left. Use the orange button on the right of the controls to open this door. 9. Once inside the garage turn right and continue towards the end. You will see the Maria Venezia garage on the right-hand side, in the second set of garages, with a Simpson travel sign on the door. Guests have often found it easier to reverse into the parking space than to reverse out of it. 10. To open the garage door turn the key as far right as it will go and then turn the handle clockwise; push the door open by pushing the middle of the door. To close the door, pull the handle and the middle of the door down towards you. Now turn the handle anti-clockwise and lock the door, making sure that it is securely locked before leaving. 11. There are illuminated lights on the garage wall. Walk back out of the garage and the residence onto the main road. Right opposite there is a road and a sign saying Piazza Santelli. Cross over onto this road, go straight ahead and when the road forks bear to the left until you reach a small square. Go down the street just to the right of Piazza Santelli past the restaurant L'Osteria. Take the 2nd right, onto Rue Napoléon and you will come to a Spar mini market on your left-hand side. 12. Turn left just before the Spar, past a little bar on your right and take the next street on the left. This is Rue de Nuit, walk a few metres and you will see a pale green door which is No.10. The apartment is on the very top floor. From Bastia Airport (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes; 74km) 1. Once you have left the airport, after 1.2km you will come to a roundabout. Go straight ahead over the bridge and take the 1st exit on the right signposted Calvi T20. 2. Continue on this road for 1.2km then take the 1st exit signposted Calvi and Ajaccio. At the roundabout go straight over and continue on this road for 1.5km until you come to another roundabout. Take the 2nd exit signposted Calvi and Ajaccio. Follow this road for 1.2km to the next roundabout and take the 1st exit for Ajaccio, Calvi, Corte and Ile Rousse on the T20. 3. Continue on theT20 for 28km. On arrival in Ponte Leccia you will go over a bridge and come to a roundabout where you will see a Super U supermarket facing you. Take the 1st exit right onto the T30 signposted Ile Rousse and Calvi. 4. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 3. From Calvi Airport (approximately 30 minutes; 23.5km) 1. Turn right out of Calvi airport onto the D81. 2. After 3km you will come to a roundabout. Take the 1st exit to your right, onto the T30 signposted Ile Rousse. 3. After 18km you will come to a roundabout with Leclerc supermarket to your left. Take the 2nd exit signposted Le Port. Go down the hill over the speed bumps until you reach the sea front. 4. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 6. From Figari Airport (approximately 3 hours 30 minutes) 1. The car park exit is on the right as you face the terminal building. At the exit to the car park bear right to join the road (the left turn takes you back to the terminal). Continue straight on for approximately 3km until you reach the roundabout. 2. On arrival at the following 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exits, following signs for Porto Vecchio. 3. Continue through the villages of Figari and Sotta for around 17km. After the Total garage on your right you will come to a roundabout. Take the 3rd exit at the roundabout towards Bastia T10. Follow the T10 around Porto Vecchio over several roundabouts following signs for Bastia. 4. Continue northbound on the T10 passing through Solenzara and Ghisonaccia and as you approach Aléria turn left immediately after the bridge onto the T50 towards Corte. 5. On arrival in Corte take the T20 towards Ponte Leccia. 6. After approximately 20 minutes you will arrive in Ponte Leccia. At the roundabout, where you see a Super U supermarket to the left, take the 2nd exit, going straight ahead onto the T30 signposted Ile Rousse and Calvi. 7. Follow the directions from Ajaccio airport from step 3. Welcome to Le Maria Venezia! NB. Please ensure that the key and remote control are returned to the Hôtel Santa Maria at the end of your stay.
