Villa Petra Bianca is a contemporary villa which has been cleverly and sensitively designed to harmonise the modern styling with the scenic country setting with the use of rustic wooden beams, weathered roof tiles and slabs of sun-drenched stone. The villa is set it its own ground surrounded by cork oaks and umbrella pines and is flanked by a couple of centenarian olive trees inside. From the terrace outside (accessible from each of the three en-suite bedrooms) or from inside via the huge picture windows you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area with the bay of Santa Gulia below. This would be an ideal villa for an expended family or group of friends and includes the additional benefit of an annexe with en-suite and private terrace which for those requiring a little more privacy and independence. Santa Giulia beach is located less than 10 minute's drive away for and offers entertainment in the form of watersports and beach bars. If you prefer to while away the hours shopping, dining or simply sipping a coffee and people-watching, Vielle Ville, Porto Vecchio can be reached in just 15 minutes. It is therefore essential to reset your odometer as directed below. The kilometre readings given in these directions (shown in brackets) are only for guidance and may not be exact. We suggest that before you set off you acquaint yourselves with the way your odometer works. In most cars it is electronic. To reset most of these models, press the button until the reading flashes for some time and then becomes zero. Please take care driving on these roads. We suggest you enjoy a leisurely lunch either in the traditional town of Figari or at the marina in Porto Vecchio. You may also wish to purchase a few shopping items before your arrival although a welcome hamper has been provided. Your villa will be available from 4pm From Ajaccio Airport (approximately 2 hours 40 minutes) 1. Leave the airport on the exit road (Route de Campo Dell Oro) and at the main road roundabout turn right onto the N193 (T20) towards Corte and Bastia. 2. Follow the N193 (T20) for around 2.1km and at the roundabout take the right turn onto the N196(T40) towards Propriano, Sartène and Bonifacio. 3. Stay on the N196(T40) passing through Propriano, Sartène and Pianottoli. 4. After approximately 4.5km turn left onto the D859 Figari road and re-set your odometer. Carry on along this road passing through the villages of Figari and Sotta in the direction of Porto Vecchio. 5. Follow the directions from Figari airport from step 4. From Bastia Airport (approximately 2 hours 10 minutes) 1. Once you have left the airport, after 1.2km you will come to a roundabout. Gostraight ahead over the bridge and take the 1st exit on the right signposted Calvi, Ajaccio and Bonifacio N193 (T20). 2. Continue on this road for 5.8km. At the next roundabout, go straight over towards Porto Vecchio. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit to your right signposted Porto Vecchio N198(T10). 3. Continue on this road until you reach the outskirts of Porto Vecchio. 4. When you reach the roundabout next to the Geant Casino supermarket take the first exit and follow this route in the direction of Bonifacio for the further 5 roundabouts. 5. At the 5th roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Bonifacio driving past the Spar supermarket 6. At the next small roundabout continue straight on for around 1km. 7. From here follow directions from Figari airport step 5. From Calvi Airport (approximately 3 hours 10 minutes) 1. Turn right out of the airport. After 3km you will come to a roundabout. 2. Take the 1st exit to your right onto the N197 (T30) sign-posted Ile Rousse. 3. 20km further on you pass Ile Rousse (L’Isula Rossa). Continue on this road towards Ponte Leccia. 4. At Ponte Leccia head southwards on the N193 / T20 towards Corte. 5. Continue until you come to the roundabout in Corte N198 / T10 and take the first exit onto the N200 / T50 towards Aléria and Porto Vecchio. 6. Follow this road until you reach Aleria. At Aleria take the N198 / T10 southbound (Right) following signs for Porto Vecchio. 7. You will continue through Ghisonaccia, Solenzara, Sainte Lucie de Porto Veccio and Lecci. 8. Continue on the N198(T10) for around 119km until you reach the Porto Vecchio ring road, where you will see the Géant supermarket to your left. 9. Take the first exit and follow this route in the direction of Bonifacio for a further 5 roundabouts. 10. At the 5th roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Bonifacio for a further 3 roundabouts passing by the Spar supermarket. 11. After the third roundabout look out for the dark green billboard for les hautes de Santa Giulia on your right. 12. From here follow directions from Figari airport step 5. From Figari airport (approximately 40 minutes) 1. The car park exit is on the right as you face the terminal building. At the exit to the car park bear right to join the road (the left turn takes you back to the terminal). Continue straight on for approximately 3km until you reach the roundabout. 2. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit in the direction of Porto-Vecchio and continue down this road passing through the village of Sotta. 3. After around 18km you will arrive at a roundabout outside Porto Vecchio where there is a Total filling station. Take the 1st exit in the direction of Bonifacio on the N198(T10). 4. At the next three roundabouts continue straight ahead passing the Spar supermarket. 5. Slow down as you see the sign for Les Hauts de Santa Giulia on your right then take the 2nd track on the right just before the large green road signs. 6. Follow this track all the way to the top, you will come to a large wooden gate with the letters PR embossed on it. 7. At this point turn left and continue down the track passing the pink villa on your right-hand side. 8. Your villa is the second one down on the right, keys are under the front door mat.
