Whisk your special person off to this gorgeous barn set in the Norfolk countryside yet within easy reach of Norwich. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom hideaway is situated on the fringes of the village of Dunston, 5 miles from the historic city. Exquisitely styled, and with a covered veranda as well as a lawned garden, this is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, especially for couples wishing to bring a four-legged friend.
Step inside the single-storey barn to discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a vaulted and beamed ceiling at his heart. Return from your trips out to relax in here in front of the Smart TV, catching up on your favourite boxsets perhaps, or to take turns at preparing delicious dinners for two in the kitchen area. This stylish space has everything you need to help you whip up tasty dishes with the fresh Norfolk produce you have bought from farm shops and markets. There is a separate WC as well as access to your sumptuous king-size bedroom with its en-suite shower room. Spend relaxing sunny afternoons out in your private garden and evenings gazing up at the starry skies over a bottle of wine. Those who enjoy a knockabout might also like to play tennis on the shared court.
Discover plenty of country walks right from your doorstep. Dunston Common, with its bluebell woods, is just over 0.5 miles away. Make your way into Norwich to explore the Lanes, a series of cobbled streets with independent shops and eateries. Venture 5 miles to Whitlingham Country Park and the start of the Norfolk Broads.
