Chalet 19 is a traditional seaside chalet , bright and breezy with vintage charm, situated in a very peasceful location close to a stunning sandy beach, perfect for paddling (very shallow water) and sand-castle building.
Why not enjoy a glass of wine sitting out in the garden in the evenings when the kids are asleep, and enjoy the scent of the jasmine? Plenty of books, a small TV, CD player/radio, games for the family.
It's a five minute drive or a 15 minute walk along the beautiful coastal path through the dunes into the village which offers the traditional vibe of an old-fashionied bucket-and-spade holiday. As well as ice creams and candy floss and arcades, there is a super bookshop, award-winning fish and chips and not to mention the fabulous dog- and kid-friendly local pub, the Admiral Benbow, situated right on the beach and offering drinks and pub snacks as well as delicious hot chocolate. Also a lovely traditional butcher
Close by are the attractions of Skegness (excellent local bus service) with donkey rides and all the fun of the fair, plus shopping with a few quirky independent shops as well as the High Street staples.
Going up the coast there are areas of outstanding natural beauty a well as bird sanctuaries and inland a little bit are some pretty market towns and villages to explore.
BY THE WAY - please note there is no internet access /wifi and phone signal on the site is very poor. (I find that the best way to get a decent phhone signal is to stand in the corner behind the tv...!)
Also, the chalet is still a little bit of a work in progress, especially the garden, and the price reflects this.
What do I love about this property? A lovely quiet site with friendly neighbours. No pubs, karaoke etc or any blaring music late at night. No sea view as such but close enough to hear it in the early mornings and only a couple of minutes' walk to the sea front and the fantastic Observatory cafe.
