A group of 20 unrelated individuals went to Punta Santiago to work on a relief project called Project Monkey Island. We all stayed in this house, about 15 minutes from Punta Santiago. This property was perfect for our needs. 3 kitchens, 8.5 baths, pool, hot tub, 2 washers and dryers, and 8 bedrooms, are only the beginning of the facilities that were available to us after long days of scraping, painting, building, and moving debris. The layout and amenities available at the house allowed us to be together or to be separate as we chose. We almost all chose to spend most of our time together, cooking dinners communally, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, and discussing what we did that day, what we would do tomorrow, and what brought us to Puerto Rico for this mission of Recovery and Discovery. Project Monkey Island will be coming back in late June or early July, and we plan to stay here again.
