This property is even more beautiful than the pictures. I highly recommend it. The owners were responsive when we were there and easy to work with. The outdoor stove isn't working and if you are a large group you may need some extra silverware and serve ware. We just bought plastic at Walmart which is an easy 15 min drive from the property. There is a closet next to the pool that is stocked with beach stuff and towels. The beach in Palmas had a lot of seaweed but I highly recommend Loquillo which is only 40 min away. Overall, an absolutely beautiful experience and we will likely be back!

Perfect space and location for a multi generation family reunion

The property offered something for everyone! Plenty of Space to gather yet enough nooks and crannies to be alone when needed. The pool was the main gathering spot after spending a day exploring local beaches, El Yunque or the property.

What an amazing property, just as described! So many rooms, everyone had their own private place and the social areas were huge! We traveled with 4 adults and 5 17-18 year old boys and had an absolutely wonderful time. The neighborhood is fantastic with many dining options and shops. We would absolutely return!

Wonderful place

What can I say, we just loved it! We're hoping to go back next year, now that we've got the lay of the land (and my sister knows that it's a four-minute walk to the nearest bar). Steve and Teresa were very responsive to anything we needed.

Great Hosts

Stay was great. This house has unbelievable amounts of room and large entertainment spaces. Everything worked well. Steve and Teresa are great hosts and very responsive. The beach situation at Palmas Del Mar is not great so you need to travel up the road a piece for good beach activity.

A Private Luxury Hotel

This was our first trip to Puerto Rico as a family and the property was perfect for our group of nine (it could have comfortably accommodated at least six more). The house was very clean and everything (AC, generator, grills, wifi, electronics, appliances) worked great. Our hosts were very helpful with ideas regarding dining and activities and responded quickly to our questions/communications. Two things really make this property special. It combines a beautiful spacious home with a large, very well-maintained pool and hot tub. We researched dozens of properties and only found a handful that offered this combination. The house itself is set up so everybody can be together and, at other times, have absolute privacy. It really does feel like your own private luxury hotel. We spent much of our stay on the premises and, other than walks, only went out for three dinners and two excursions. We had two rental cars and a Walmart 10 minutes away kept us well stocked. A great week overall. Will definitely stay here again on our next family visit.

Beautiful, magnificent home. Exactly as advertised on VRBO. Amazing indoor and outdoor living areas. Pool area beautiful. Located inside Palmas Del Mar. Access to beach, restaurants, golf. Home is very large and can accommodate many more people than we had on our trip. Bedrooms are spread over multiple floors and created a sense of privacy for all. Used the TV room to watch movies two nights. Located about 1 hour from downtown San Juan. Located in a very nice area with a security gate to limit access to the overall resort. Property Manager was available to answer any questions we had upon arrival. Totally hassle free check in/check out process. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to large families or groups.

This property is really beautiful!!

We were really pleased with our stay at this property. The house was everything that is advertised and more. My Sister and her family shared our 50th Wedding Anniversary with all the children and grand children from both families. We had no complaints on the property from any one of the 22 that were with us. We would highly recommend this property.

Perfect layout

My family enjoyed a lovely week at this property. There was enough room for everyone to be together, but also have private space for quiet time alone. The house was very well equipped. Everything from kitchen supplies to pool toys, towels and linens were available. Owners communicated well and our visit was seamless.

We are a family of 16 ranging in age from 17 to 80. My husband and I were celebrating our 56th wedding anniversary. This beautiful villa was very spacious permitting individuals privacy when they wanted. There were essentially three kitchens, two outside under cover. The inside kitchen was well appointed with modern appliances. We especially enjoyed the two open air verandas. The one outside the master bedroom suite was were we enjoyed our morning coffee with other early risers. The owner, Steve was very responsive to our inquiries of local amenities and needs. We will recommend this villa to friends.

Perfect Birthday Getaway *

This villa was amazing! We traveled with 10 adults for my fiancé’s birthday getaway. The property was huge & views were amazing. Though we spent a lot of time there, we had lots of options for places to relax. Outdoor grill/pool area was an ideal meeting place. The villa felt like it’s own private resort. Teresa & Steve made everything so easy! They gave us detailed info on the area & contact for any & everything we could possibly need. Also, the property manager Nancy was the best! She was extremely hospitable & made us feel comfy from the minute we arrived. We had a last minute request and she helped us get it done… miracle worker! Thank you Steve, Teresa, & Nancy !

Family Vacation

We had an awesome family vacation in this beautiful home. Steve and Teresa were very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed. Perfect for our family

This property exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms were comfortable and the common areas numerous. We spent most the day by the pool. At night some played cards in the kitchen while others chatted in the various living areas. The owner was very helpful, promptly responding. The neighborhood iguanas were fun to see and the coquis are beautiful to hear. Be careful with the driveway. Go slow or park on the street. We loved this place. Highly recommended!

Our FIFTH stay at Hidden Treasure

This is a fantastic property that suits our purposes perfectly. We are a group of unrelated individuals, ranging in age from our early 20s to our early 70s, who work on Project Monkey Island (look for us on Facebook). We come to Humacao several times a year to help repair, restore, and revitalize the small town of Punta Santiago, and Cayo Santiago, its scientific field station. We have now stayed at Hidden Treasure five times, because it has everything that we need after working on Cayo and in Punta all day. The house is big enough to allow everyone to spread out and has many common areas where we can enjoy one another’s company. The pool area is fantastic; the hot tub is a focus for many of us to soothe sore muscles. The kitchens are ideal for cooking together; the two laundry areas keep us in clean clothes; and the common areas make it easy to laugh together. Hidden Treasure is a critical factor in our mission. We are already planning for our next stay. Thank you.

We hosted a group of 10 couples for our annual reunion that has been going on for 45 years now, splitting them between 2 houses. this was the main house accommodating 6 couples very comfortably and serving has the group gathering place for meals and conversation. It worked perfectly.

This was our fourth stay in the house

This is a fantastic property that suits our purposes perfectly. We are a group of unrelated individuals working on Project Monkey Island. We come to Punta Santiago several times a year to help repair, restore, and revitalize this small town and its scientific field station. We stay at Hidden Treasure because it has everything that we need after working hard all day. The house is big enough to allow everyone to spread out and has many common areas where we can all hang out together. The pool area is fantastic; the hot tub is a focus for many of us to soothe sore muscles. We cook together, clean together, and laugh together; all thanks to Hidden Treasure. We are already planning for our next stay. Thank you.

Beautiful Home

This home is well equipped for a large group. The outdoor area down by the pool was a hot spot for the week for our family. We were able to grill some food and watch the kiddos play in the pool. This was a great stay, we certainly enjoyed everything about palmas del mar.

Amazing

We stayed at this truly amazing property over the 2018 Christmas Holiday. We were 3 families with children ranging from 4 to 14 and also had 2 grand parents. The house was extremely well-appointed, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. The pool was the just spectacular. The balconies had a constant gentle breeze which was extremely comfortable. The amenities to cook were so good, I think we only ate out twice, which was at the nearby Pescaderia where the food was fantastic. The hosts were extremely helpful, Teresa actually bought a small Christmas tree to make the place festive - THANK YOU Teresa. Nancy, was very helpful and responsive to our every need. My family is still raving about this location and called it the best vacation ever. Hard to beat that review. Thank you for making our 2018 Christmas so special

This is a fantastic property that has everything.

This was our group's second visit to this property (we are working on a repair mission in nearby Punta Santiago #projectmonkeyisland). We had up to 25 people (ranging in age from 6 months to 71 years of age) in the house and it was not the least bit crowded. Each day, when we returned from our repair work, we played together, cooked together, cleaned together, and relaxed together. With indoor and outdoor kitchens, the theatre, the pool, and the hot tub, it was easy to enjoy our time off. The property has everything you need, is extremely clean, and is beautifully situated. We are already planning our return for a third trip.

Fifty years together

rather than throw a party for our 50th wedding anniversary, we decided to rent a villa in PR that could host comfortably our family of 8 adults and 4 grandchildren. Hidden treasures fit the bill perfectly. This house, on four levels, is beautiful, well furnished and appointed and has everything you need for an incredible time. The only negative--which was mother nature, not the house--was the smell of decaying seaweed. It was not all the time, but when the wind blew a certain direction, it was very noticeable. But again, this is Mother Nature. Overall, we had a fantastic anniversary trip with our children and grandchildren. I would highly recommend this home to any large family.

We absolutely loved this home!

The house was very clean with plenty of space for our group of 11. The pool and outside patios were the perfect place for us to hang out and enjoy the beautiful view. Nancy our contact person was super friendly and responsive to all of our requests. We would definitely stay again!
