We (3 skiiers, 3 spouse non-skiiers, 1 single and two children 3 and 6) rented this property for a week between Christmas and new year, with the idea of combining a ski vacation with a family alpine Xmas vacation. Property was great. Strengths: Clean, inviting, spacious, lots of glassware, etc., quiet, and some nice views. Lay out lends itself to everyone being together in the living room during the day with quiet bedrooms. Weaknesses: Having arrived after hours in a big snow storm, had some minor troubles (e.g., operating the garage keypad), and the spa pool water smelt bad. Agency was highly responsive in resolving any problems, quickly.
Ski-wise, it's a 2-3 min walk to the free brown bus route which takes everyone everywhere including about 3 stops to Peak 9 chair - very convenient, easy and fun. Biggest surprises: (1) Breck is such a beautiful town, the non-skiiers had plenty to do and see. (2) The Nordic Center for cross country skiing is a great, cost effective alternative when the downhill lifts are at capacity (instructor "Jim" is an amazing teacher), with amazing views. Really worth trying it out. (3) We did experience altitude challenges at Breck and it does take days to adjust. Would definitely stay at the property again and recommend it to others.
