Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We normally stay at a different resort and this was far superior, especially the room and kitchen. Violet was a great communicator and made everything go smoothly. We'll be back!

Great resort

The Villa at Palmar, which is part of a triad of related resorts, is beautiful, meticulously maintained, and well-located (a short walk from the center of Cabo and right on a gorgeous beach). The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. We have a great time here.

Staff and facility were great. Like the 18+pool quieter and staff service helpful if needing a chair or umbrella. Easy walk or taxi ride to downtown.

Staying Longer Next Time

Villa del Palmar is perfect for us. The property is very clean and the staff is the best. Great views of the ocean from our rooms and sitting by the pool. Little grocery store on site is very convenient too. Only a $10 taxi ride to town to some great bars and restaurants. As always coordinating the trip thru Violet was seamless.

Fantastic again!

We absolutely love Villa del Palmar. The entire resort staff is extremely friendly and always working hard to please the guest. Special recognition to Esther and Nico for their tremendous service by the pool. And to Ephraim and the guys at the bellhop area. As usual the reservation process with Violet was super easy. We look forward tour next trip!

Exceeded our expectations

Had a great trip to Cabo and think November is a great time to go. Violet came through as promised! We booked 2 units and check in was seamless! The resort was very clean, the staff was SO friendly and were ALWAYS working. Taxi's in 5 minutes for $9 to town was very convenient too. We loved the little market where we bought "supplies" for the room. We're already talking about our next trip and will be sure to book through Violet again!

Good digs

Great location. Obviously set up to entertain. Great transportation services. Great room service and good food. Reasonably priced. Great shows right on property. Friendly folks. Check in was a bit disappointing as they try too hard to get you to listen to the property sales pitch. Truly a bit disappointed at that as I was not forewarned. Everything else was great.

Definitely Recommend!!!

Violet is a fantastic host. She was able to accommodate my stay for fewer days than 7 and made the entire process easy and straightforward. This review is for her property at Villa Del Palmar. The resort has excellent customer service and the suite we stayed had a beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely recommend to stay here and the price point was more than fair. Thanks again Violet and hope to book with you again soon!

Great all inclusive resort close to downtown and beaches

We had a wonderful stay at Villa del Palmar for a quick birthday getaway. The resort is a little on the older side so the hallways and rooms are a bit musty when you walk through but leaving the patio open in the room did the trick (besides, we spent most of our time at the pool/beach anyways). Communication with Violet was a breeze. She was very responsive and booked her timeshare for us with zero confusion at the resort that we were guests. The check in process is lengthy so be advised. We didn't realize it was spring break when we went so there were a LOT of college students lol.

Great time in cabo

The accommodations were very good, the resort was very well kept and staff were outstanding. We spent 3 weeks so we were able to get to know some of the staff. My husband and I were there for some time on our own and then our daughter and 4 month old granddaughter joined us. The pool team (Elizabeth, Pedro and Hector) were wonderful. They took very good care of our family. Our housekeeper (I wish I could remember her name) was so kind and did an excellent job! Our only bad experience were the dogs at the private residence next to the resort and the non-stop barking, we witnessed one dog escaping and attacking a women on the beach.

Great place to stay especially with kids!

Studio was perfect for the 4 of us. Very clean & comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast on the deck in the morning with our ocean view. Lots of activities for kids to do swimming, water slide, arts & crafts, etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful, assisted us with booking adventures during the day. Overall we had a great experience at this resort only complaint would be some barking dogs next door (which are not part of the resort) but they seemed to only bark at night which disturbed our sleep:(

Spring break

Fantastic resort. We were a family of 4 (2 teenage boys). All the staff were very gracious and friendly. Resort was well kept. Great deli and little grocery store. We used the gym/ tennis courts and they were well equipped. Great having beach right at resort. We spent most of our time in the ocean. You do have to be careful of break waves, they can toss you around if your not paying attention. Room we had was a 1 bedroom suite ground floor by upper pool. King size bed, big ensuite. Living room had pull down Murphy bed (double bed). love all the matching tile/stone work in bathrooms and kitchen, everything was clean with nice little kitchen. Great movie channels for winding down at night. Great dinner shows through out the week. Lunch at the outdoor restaurant overlooking beach/ocean was fantastic. Part of the experience of Mexico is haggling prices for stuff we don't need but it's fun. You must have a massage on the beach for $20US for 75 minutes. The ladies were great. We went twice! Weather was great everyday. We would walk into town on the road ( little easier than beach) and enjoy town that way. Great restaurants/shops, always fun. Taxi ride from resort to town is $10US with tip. Great place for families. Lower pool more for younger kids. They even have a little toddler pool. Very cute. Even at spring break, it didn't seem crowded. Great location. Cheers!
