We purchased this home a year ago and fell in love with the quality of the craftsmanship and the location.
Our home is located in South Port Coquitlam, 2 blocks from the Mary Hill Bypass (7B). A 3 minute drive to the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy #1) going west for 30 minutes by car puts you in the downtown core of Vancouver.
If you are not traveling by car; then public transportation is at your doorstep. You are minutes away from Port Coquitlam station with access to the daily commuter train called West Coast Express and another short ride to Coquitlam Centre where all the shops are including our local Skytrain.
The house is also a short 3-4 minute drive to some of the local grocery stores by Freemont Village (Costco including gas bar, Walmart, BC liquor store, Save-on-Foods); as well as all the major banks, restaurants and fast food outlets like McDonalds.
If you enjoy nature there are a lot of trails to enjoy nature (Colony Farms Trails, PoCo Trail (great for biking) as well as Gates Park (great for children along the river). There are also two outdoor pools within a three block radius open during the summer months (Routley Park has a wadding pool that is free and Robert Hope Park for a small fee). There is also a great Recreational complex two minute drive away. It is currently going under renovations and the new expansion should be completed in early 2019.
