My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. It is at the edge of town on a vineyard, yet within easy walking distance to town for dining options. The breakfast was good and the setting is serene and quiet.

Fabulous

If I could give more than five stars I would, this is the best experience I have had in B&B. Friendly greeting on arrival which makes such a difference the owner was very informative. The accommodation was to a very high standard, breakfast was fantastic with such an array of choice. I would recommend USOTEGI to anyone wanting to visit the area its very central to places of interest. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Das Haus ist sehr sauber mit großen Zimmern und Bad, auf einem schönen Weinhügel gelegen mit Blick aufs Meer - was will man mehr? Zum Meer hinunter in den hübschen Ort gibt's einen Lift - sehr komfortabel. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im August ist der Strand und der Ort allerdings überfüllt.

Sitio perfecto para pasar unos días de descanso en un entorno idílico entre viñedos y el mar donde el silencio es absoluto y donde descansar. El desayuno es casero y muy rico, y la dueña Aitzpea nos hizo sentir muy a gusto y comodos en nuestra estancia. Lugar recomendado si quieres recargar "las pilas". Perfecto, y sin duda repetiremos el año que viene. Enhorabuena por lo bien que lo haceis Usotegi. Un saludo.

Wonderful Property

We truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. Sitting in the middle of a vineyard, the rooms were comfortable with views looking out over the vineyards with the Atlantic ocean in view from the balcony. The sisters who run the property and the staff were friendly and very pleasant. The price was very reasonable and the small additional fee for breakfast was well worth the cost. The breakfast included fresh baked croissants, eggs, and a variety of meats, cheeses and yogurt and cereal. Getaria is an easy walk downhill from the property and if you do not have the energy to walk back up the hill after your dinner of delicious fresh fish or salad, you can ride the escalators and elevators up to the top of the town and then walk back to your room. As a sky watcher, my only wish was that the property was not so well lit at night. But after long days of travel from Getaria to San Sebastian or Bilbao, we were more interested in sleep rather than star gazing. If you are planning a visit to the Basque coast please consider this property as it is conveniently situated from all the major cities and historic sites in the region. The last couple of turns on the main road leading up to the property can be tricky but the signage is well market all the way from the town center.
