Very nice stay!

This unit was just right for our needs. Steps from the beach. Nice views. Location was great. Property manager was super responsive. Will plan to stay there again.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary trip. This was an amazing little gem of a place. The unit was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking supplies you would need if you decided to cook. The unit is close to shopping and restaurants. We loved having a private beach and chairs and an umbrella being put up for us. David was amazing and so easy to contact. We will definitely stay again and are looking to book again soon.

We loved this place! It was so close the beach and exactly what we needed. The rental was clean and updated. The check in/out process was easy. David, the host was great and very helpful! We plan to stay here again!

Emerald Coast Hidden Gem

Very much enjoyed being steps away from the beach and able to easily return to the comfort of the clean, newly-updated condo. Fully equipped to eat-in if you feel like cooking. Was perfect for a couple just wanting to chill on the beach. Bed was comfortable, bathroom small but nice and owner responsive and friendly. Loved it!

Glorious location!

We will definitely be back! This is a charming accommodation, very clean, soooo comfy. And the location is absolutely perfect! A short walk down the stairs to a lovely private beach and such beautiful water, even on rainy days. We will miss Destin! David, you are a great host! Thank you! 😃

Wonderful Get Away

David was great to work with. The housing was perfect for 2. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable inside. The deck was great to sit and have breakfast every day. The chair set up on the beach was great. Such a beautiful setting. Thank you David. ☀️

Will return!

Loved the location and privacy. This is our first experience with a gated community. The room was exceptionally clean and perfect for anyone wanting a floor level room right on the beach. I didn’t miss riding elevators and walking forever through a large condo complex like we have done in the past. We hope to stay here again!

The property was nice was gated but the gate wasnt working had a nice stay had a problem with the ac and he got it fixed the next day very easy to talk to would rent there again all in all had a great time

Great Location

The location of the property was outstanding. The refrigerator absolutely needs replaced as it is gross. Was disappointed it was advertised to have cable tv which did not work. No beach chairs provided and we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper. With a few simple upgrades this could be a 5 star stay!

Best week we’ve spent in Destin. The condo was great for two people. Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Loved the easy walk to the beach (down 16 steps from parking lot til your toes are in the sand!). We will be return renters!! Thank you, David, for a wonderful stay!

Great Couple Getaway

My husband and I took a two week getaway to Destin. For that period of time we needed an affordable beachfront condo. We didn’t need anything bigger than a 1BR. Capri by the Gulf was the perfect find. These one story units built in the 1950’s are well maintained and updated inside. The gated community gave us the sense of safety and the 300 foot private beach was amazing. We would see crowds to our right and left, but we had the beach to ourselves. Communication from the owner was great. Check in was simple and we enjoyed a quiet getaway. If my husband and I visit on our own again, we will stay here. Only downside was not having washer/dryer in the unit. The laundry facility was just down from our unit in the complex and easy enough to use by paying with an app connected to the appliances. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s amazing!

Quiet beachfront getaway

We had a wonderful time! The property is right on the beach and in a prime spot in the middle of Destin. The beach is private and has beach service included, which was wonderful. The beach service crew were so helpful and checked in throughout the day to make sure we didn’t need anything. David was super helpful everytime we reached out to him. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, location!

A few electrical issues in the condo that definitely need to be addressed as communicated with the owner, but the condo is perfectly sized for two people. Purposefully brought $12 in quarters to do our own cleaning of the sheets upon arrival (and glad we did) because there was sand on the comforter and sheets. I didn’t complain about it to the owner because I love the beach, sand, and water, so it was no problem for me to clean everything upon arrival. Fridge could use updating, but once again, it’s hardly worth talking about. You cannot beat the location and you cannot beat the price for the location. Beach service was also a huge plus. We had a great week! Thanks David!

Great vacation good location.

Hot water was plentiful took 2 showers a day and washed breakfast lunch and dinner ware everyday. Air conditioning was cold. It was set at 73 when we got there and adjusted to 75 and was very comfy for us. Beach service was outstanding chairs and umbrellas were set up by 8 am everyday. Views from the commons deck was excellent. Saw dolphins on 2 occasions while sitting there. It was not the cleanest that we have stayed in but there were no bugs inside. I got rid of one ant in a 7 day stay. Check in with owner was good just used contact number when we arrived and he gave us all pass codes in text. Will rent this property again. Thanks what a relaxing week.

Great location

Had a great time. The location is great. Close to all the restaurants we love to eat at. The beach chairs are included which is awesome.. We will definitely stay here again.

A+ Location

Our stay was awesome! First time to Destin and we picked the perfect place to stay. Beach service was worth it alone!!!! Very quiet gated community. Owner replied quickly when we had any questions. We will be back!!!

Destin Getaway

Nice, comfortable and well equipped place with easy access to a beautiful private beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Very walkable area and close to restaurants & shopping. Complex is gated and has a coin operated laundry room close to this unit. Perfect for the two of us!

Beach Front Motel

Good location, close to the beach. VRBO listing stated that the condo was newly renovated, but we no signs of any new renovations (e.g., old beat up appliances, ceiling fans/walls/floors were dusty/dirty, no cable bedroom, burned out lightbulb outside condo entrance (very dark at night), door lock damaged (difficult to lock/unlock). Property was not clean and did not feel safe at night.

Great Stay

The condo was very nice and clean. Direct access to the beach was very convenient too! We loved staying here. The location on Vrbo was about 10 minutes away from the actual spot, but it worked out well for us. Easy to get to and gated parking! Would definitely stay here again

Beachfront condo

Our first trip to Destin and already want to return. The condo was as advertised. Steps to the beach from condo door. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable and was perfect after a day of travel. There were plenty of towels and beach chairs awaiting us. The host David answered our questions promptly. So glad to have found this rental and will definitely return.

Great laid-back beachfront

Perfect access to the beach right outside our door in a quiet, upscale locale. Quirkie renovated old motel which to us was much more pleasant than a newer high-rise or some off-the-beach place. No elevators, no lobby, no long walks to the beach, but very friendly neighbors.

Location, location, location!

Literally parked 6 steps from the door to our unit. The unit is very functional with all the essentials; pleasant and in good repair but not fancy. Short walk down some steps to the beach with nice chairs and an umbrella included. I can’t imagine being any closer to the beach! Things to know- The laundry area is not in the unit and is shared. The BBQ area is also shared and is very basic.
