The pool is nice, and the hot tub is nice too (but watch out, there's not really any steps to get in and out, not good for elders).
The bed was comfortable, and parking wasn't bad once we figured out where the 2nd parking lot was (always had room there).
Neighbors were nice and no loud people.
The moderate negatives are things that are beyond the property managers control:
1. The pool/hot tub closes at 9:00. After a long day of hiking, a soak after dinner gets cut short.
2. While it's totally natural for heavy rain pretty much every day in Princeville, the drainpout that is attached to the outer wall of the unit sounds like someone pounding on the wall with a hammer. It woke us up every night when the rain would come. Not a good spot for a light sleeper.
3. During the day time, another unit a few doors down was getting remodeled, and they'd start with the saws and stuff at around 9:00am... so no sleeping in. (this will probably be very short term, so check the date of this review and disregard)
However, compared to other places we've stayed in Princeville, this place was very affordable, and the management really goes the extra mile to check in with you, see if there's anything you need, and makes it very clear how to contact them.
If you've never been to Princeville/Hanalei, you're in for an absolute treat! Make sure you make reservations for Ke'e Beach AHEAD OF TIME... they don't let you just drive up anymore.
