We have stayed in an end unit in past years - but this year we thought being across from the pool and - in a unit, which appeared to have additional loft space for all our excess baggage etc, would be a nice change. Unfortunately, the loft is not accessible - in any of the units for renters. It would have been helpful to clarify this in the description. The photos make it seem otherwise.We travel with a lot of gear, and were staying for 12 nights - and we were counting on that space.Upon arrival we discovered the 2 box springs on the beds in the bedrooms were very old and extremely noisy - any movement in either of the beds sounded like a chainsaw starting up.That said - when we contacted the management company about the box springs and how crowded the space felt with no access to the loft - they were super accommodating about moving some unnecessary furniture and had the box springs replaced within 24 hours. Huge relief! Many thanks to them and the responsiveness by the owner to take care of the problem. The kitchen is well stocked.There is a great assortment of towels and beach gear. There is def an ant issue. No food or even crumbs can be left on plates / in sink / on counter - anywhere.The dryer is best run in the evening or when you are not in the condo ... it makes the place very warm.The beach chairs are in need of replacing and we purchased and left an umbrella there for future guests. The maintenance / grounds manager is lovely. The community is great - many friendly and welcoming owners. We did encounter a woman(owner) on the first floor who seemed really aggravated by the bustle of spring break families staying in the complex. No rules were broken, no issues took place, kids were respectful - but she stood around minding everyone - with her arms crossed on a number of occasions. It seems like if she doesn't like a busy pool or families all gathering to eat at the bbq area - spring break isn't a good time to
