内側、外側、リビング、キッチン、ダイニングが完璧に流れる広々としたオープンスペースに恋をします。
マスターベッドルームとバスルームが2つあるので、2人家族や大家族が一緒に時間を過ごすのに最適です。 1階に4/2と2階に3/2があります。 1階には、���モコン付きのガス暖炉と、芝生への2つのフレンチドアがあり、バーベキューや屋外での食事が楽しめます。 また、2階にはビリヤード台、ジャグジーバスタブ、渓谷を見下ろす2つのバルコニーを備えたゲームルームがあります。

Comfortable family house
We stayed at the house as an extended family vacation - two families with kids and an additional four adults without kids and it fit us all fairly comfortably. The mattresses leave a little to be desired, but overall the space was comfortable and close to everything we planned to see in San Diego. The backyard has been setup very nicely to enjoy the wonderful weather and we had more than enough room for our entire group to watch the Super Bowl In the living room. We had a couple snags at checkin regarding arrival date and the host was quick to reply and rectify the situation - going above and beyond. I would highly recommend this home and would stay with this host again.

San Diego Family Reunion
It was a bit steep in price, but an all around beautiful property. Perfect location for our family Reunion lasagna dinner. There does seem to be an issue with the hot tub, but loved the "fire pit".

Comfortable time with excellent hosts
We were coordinating a family trip to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and were looking for a place that would serve as a recurring retreat after sightseeing and a surprise party we'd coordinated for him. Canyon Castle was exactly that. Lots of space for us to spread out into our own rooms, beautiful open living room/kitchen for hanging out together, a beautifully naturally lit upstairs area. Our GEM though was the backyard. It was super peaceful and scenic and each evening we got to enjoy the sunset over the canyon. Our host Anita was by far the most warm/responsive host I'd ever interacted with. She messaged from before our arrival, checked in, and when we had an issue with the iron they had one sent to us in just a few hours. We're grateful for the experience.

Special Occassion
My husband & I decided to have a small wedding with just immediate family & friends. Anita allowed us to have our special day in her rental. From the day we booked to the whole rest of our stay, Anita was super supportive & welcoming. Our families had traveled from India & CA. They all absolutely loved the rental. There are some minor wears that need fixing, but nothing that prevented us from having a great stay. The house was beautiful & accessible for all. We booked the space to host our two ceremonies (Hindu & Western) & the Hindu rituals leading to the wedding. All went well, the only issue we had were the neighbors on both sides made it clear they do not appreciate the host renting the property. I am not sure what has happened in the past, but it became aware there has been tensions between them. Unfortunately, we were just the group one of them decided to blow steam on for no reason. The neighbor on the right side, decided to act out when we were finishing our first ceremony on Friday afternoon. We think he was under the influence of something. He just started yelling things about this neighborhood not being a church and then accusing us of having car races at night. Nothing he said made sense & to add injury he decided to say racists things to our guests. Then he tried charging towards a guest in attempt to hit her. My friend's fiancé blocked him. We were all shocked. Our friends & family watching virtually saw the whole confrontation. We were all ready to call the police on him. We have it recorded in case we decide to file a suit, but for the most part we decided to leave it at that for we did not want to ruin our day. Anita was there to help during this ordeal & made sure to check-in throughout the day. It all happened so fast & our guests were trying to keep calm. We were all able to continue the rest of our day, but made sure to keep an eye on the neighbor & walked our guests to their cars for safety. We ended all our festivities by 9:00pm just in accordance to Anita's rule. The neighborhood is a quiet one with lots of parking nearby as long as guest do not park near the neighbors parking areas. The neighborhood is 15 minutes from Downtown and the airport. Clairemont Mesa Blvd is close by with multiple shops, restaurants, & freeway entrances. It was super convenient. Our experience was great- despite the neighbor. We're truly thankful for Anita for all of her help and allowing us to have our wedding! She's a great host!

My name is Anita. Together with my family we own four vacation homes, three here in the Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego and one in the San Bernardino Mountains.
I’ve met so many travelers through this process and truely enjoy making sure our guests are feel comfortable and cared about during their stay. Setting up rooms and adding custom touches is one of my favorite things to on the lookout for comfy accent chairs, cozy blankets, and fancy chocolates.

The back yard is completely private and the open floor plan with two sets of French doors to the back yard is simply unbeatable for large groups.
