Amazing spot!

We loved staying here so much. It was perfect with two little kiddos. The condo and grounds were immaculate and so pleasant. We will definitely be back!!

only 1 complaint.

We love staying at Wailea Ekahi and one of the main reasons is the pavilion, we have cocktails and dinner there every night, the best. Was a little disappointing to find out the Owners(their annual dinner) had closed the entire Pavilion (tables, BBQ's, etc) from 2pm-9pm out last night.I think in the future it would have been nice to be notified, so groceries etc, weren't bought. Other than that, it was great!

The unit was not as clean as we would expect. We were also surprised there was no 'minimal' amount of clothes cleaning and drying supplies.

Our Stay

Love the house as we have stayed before. A few details that I noticed as the kitchen was a bit bare, (not alot of bowls and pots and pans) and the knifes are very old and dirty (ones on the counter block). The Bed is very hard. Other than that everything is good!

Needs some TLC

We’ve been staying in this condo community for the past 10 years and while the unit is comfortable, this was the first unit we felt didn’t live up to expectations. The unit is worn and needs a fresh coat of paint and fixing up. As well, we had a number of bugs visit through the night and day in the kitchen and bathroom areas. There are two beach chairs and a cooler available to use, but since this is now managed by Destination Resorts (part of Hyatt Hotels) there’s not much more. The beach towels are small and you’ll want extras to make sure you have coverage at the beach. Destination Resorts was responsive and brought someone in for the bugs, but we would highly recommend a deeper bug removal program. This is a corner unit with garden view. You are close to the pools and beach entrance. It’s very quiet too.

Great location and property, poor management

Great location and love the property, pool and beach. Managed by a company and check-in process was terrible. Could not get a real person on the phone despite trying several numbers and automated phone selections. Had to go to their office twice because they forgot to send code after the first visit. Check in time was 4pm, had to drive back to office at 545 because we had not heard anything and could not get thru on the phone. Used to communicating directly with condo owner and being able to drive directly to the condo, not an office to check in. The condo is fine, good location backing to open area. Kitchen was OK, not as well stocked as other units we have rented at Ekahi. Pool, pavilion and beach are awesome and a short walk down the hill. Did get a cleaning with fresh towels, coffee ect halfway thru our stay. Love Ekahi condos but will look for a unit without third party management next time
