Almost perfect

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful view, clean, great location! Quick elevator!Comfortable beds Our only disappointments were light fixtures, two bathroom vanities lights did not work, overhead light in entry way did not work, light at end of couch did not work. We emailed several people, including maintenance and were told they would look into it or they would contact the owner but nothing was done.

Good Location by the Beach (but there are problems)

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Problems with door key - keys needed to be remade; extensive time-consuming jiggling was required to unlock the door every time. Even after complaining several times, I never got new door keys.Problem with getting locked out of building every day at 8 pm. Security locks the building every day at 8 pm. For all other residents, their door key unlocks the building’s doors downstairs. Our keys couldn’t unlock these doors. I had to contact PVR multiple times to get a working building key. Waited several days to get it.Problem with smoke detector. I tried calling PVR’s after hours phone number to leave an urgent message about the smoke detector making loud alarm sounds due to a low battery condition. I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to sleep until this was fixed. Unfortunately, PVR’s voicemail box was full and would not accept any messages. I had to buy a 9 volt battery and stand on a chair to install it.Non-working light fixture in bathroom. There is a 3-lamp light fixture in the bathroom that is completely non-working since none of the light bulbs turn on.Lots of dust beneath the dressers. I found so much dust beneath the dresser that indicates that this area never gets cleaned despite the high cleaning cost that PVR charges. There was also a lot of dust in the closets off the entrance hallway.We stayed in this unit for two-month stays for two consecutive years. There was a 1-inch hole in the screen door that was there for both of our stays.PVR has not been performing basic maintenance on the unit and could be much more responsive to maintenance requests.

My Big Break

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My vacation rental was good but could have been better. The location was breathtaking however,the heat would not go above 70, therefore the unit fan never shut off at night to hear the wavesIn addition, I returned from my dinner and the building door was locked and neither of the issued keys worked which was not pleasing being locked out of the building.

Serenity

The unit was as pictured. The only issue we had was the door lock was a nightmare to gain entrance to the unit. All else was amazing! So much to do here besides just relaxing on the generous balcony. A TV was listed for the second bedroom but there wasn't one. No matter though, such a relaxing and wonderful vacation!

There were a couple of things that needed fixing in the showers but overall we would definitely rent this condo again.
