We enjoyed our stay at your cabin and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place! We've stayed at many different cabins over the years and some of the older ones were just nasty...I didn't even want to use the bathroom at those places (lol)... but your cottage #6 was very clean! thank you!!!
I know the ad stated that it's only basic television there, and I didn't plan on spending much time indoors, so it wasn't a concern... but, with the severe heat/humidity outside during our stay, we ended up indoors more than I had planned... so, if you're going to stay here, bring some dvd's or a book to read or something to entertain yourself... only 3 channels on the tv. Internet worked just fine, but I can only spend so much time on that stuff :)
Jim was available for whenever we needed anything, and we were able to rent an awesome slip for our boat to sit at (in the shade)... the lake is superb!!! just beautiful!!! too bad fishing wasn't good at all though... I'm sure the "busy" atmosphere of the lake over July 4th (skiers, jet boats, etc), along with the heat, affected the fishing... oh well, still had a very nice time! (and the fireworks we heard while there were not anywhere near the war zone that we experience at our home here in northwest Indiana... so we ---mostly our dog--- are grateful for that!)
Visited the elk/bison "reserve" over in Land Between the Lakes on our last evening there... and we were lucky to see an entire group of bison (adults with babies) eating their dinner... how cool.
