This cottage was built in the 1950's. It's been remodeled multiple times, but still has its quirks! Very charming and comfortable you won't want to leave! It's located right on the coast of Kachemak Bay, Homer, Alaska. Settled between the small airport and the ocean, you will hear the small cessna planes leaving for bear viewing adventures as well as the sounds of eagles and gulls. Enjoy the views from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, hot tub, sauna, expansive deck or manicured lawn. Beautiful place to relax and recharge. Excellent birdwatching with two eagle nests close by as well as multiple shorebirds on the beach below. The beach below the house is not accessible from the property, but a short distance away there is a trail leading down to the ocean. Excellent location - short drive to town for groceries and a short drive to the Homer Spit. This is our primary home and we live here with our dogs October- May. We are happy to share it with you.
