Location was great in comparison to Village Center. We had two kids, one of which went to pre-ski school (located in basement). And short walk to the village center, which had some good spots to eat with the family, pick up ski rentals and passes, and coffee.
Although location was great, unit and building is very dated and the unit could use more household items. There was limited soap, the coffee maker had no filters, the cooking supplies were limited, and there was no Tupperware. Also, the kitchen/cooking space is significantly smaller than depicted in the photos. Also, the unit is on the 3rd floor and the elevators are not close to the unit. Coming in from village guest have to take stairs or walk to other end of building to grab elevators.
Although the property managers were very quick to respond, they were not that helpful. After notifying them it was our first time to Snowshoe and asking for tips, we were told to just look at the generic Snowshoe website. Also, their e-guestbook/travel book was not very helpful/insightful.
Overall, despite its convenience, I would recommend to friends and family that they stay someplace else.
