Location and size of condo was outstanding

Loved it but the living room furniture need upgrading and toilets need to be worked on, handles stick and water keeps running.

Great location and view

We enjoyed this condo very much. This condo was probably the best appointed (kitchen stuff and even a crockpot) kitchen I’ve stayed. Only thing missing were hot pads. I meant to pick some up but forgot. We loved how close it was to the beach and also the heated pool and hot tub. Location was great close to many restaurants and shops.

Beautiful view of ocean

The condo was spacious. Location on the beach was perfect! Amazing views from the balcony. Close proximity to restaurants. Only complaints were that the condo needs a deep cleaning (floors were dirty, dust on baseboards, water stain on bedroom ceiling) and the mattresses need to be replaced. The master bed was especially uncomfortable - could feel the springs, sagged in areas and squeaked with every turn. This would not keep me from renting again, but the condo would be that much better with addressing these issues.

Beautiful Beach View but Needs Updating

Beautiful ocean view. Nice pool. Kitchen is nice along with appliances. Couch and chair need replacing or repairing because the material is coming apart and falling on the floor in pieces. Toilet in master needs repairing. Difficult to flush. Air conditioning only goes down to 70.

Amazing!

This is our second year staying at the Marbella Villas. Absolutely perfect location! Trolly stop a two minute walk. Having a stairwell from your unit directly to the beach/pool is a deal maker for anyone traveling with an eight and younger child. We have a special needs three year old. Being able to be at the beach or back at the condo within two minutes is priceless. If he only lasted 10 minutes on the beach, it was no big deal. And whoever had to stay in the condo with him, could still be part of the whole group by handing on the lanai. They could watch the other kiddos play on the beach or be right there if they were swimming in the pool. You're 8/10 mile from Bridge street...tons of restaurants, bars, a great coffee shop! This end of the island has the entertainment! We absolutely love it here!

October on the Beach

We loved our October stay! Being a corner condo, there is an extensive view of the beautiful blue-green water and white sand of the gulf! The water was warm and clean. The air temperatures were summer-like in the mid 80s. Since it was off season there were no crowds. A helpful beach hint - there is a beach closet associated with the condo which has beach umbrellas, chairs, floats and toys etc. but hard to find. It is door number 2 located outside on ground level, behind the spiral staircase leading from the condo. The house key opens the closet. The lounge chairs provided for the whole condo complex have to be pulled out and back from the beach by you each day if you want to use them. Things to do- Really enjoyed our "Salty Dolphin" tour. The operator, Chris, was so passionate and knowledgeable! We also did a 2 1/1 hour sailboat ride which was lovely. The public Manatee Beach was fun with live music every night until sunset when they closed the lights for the turtle season. The nearby Gulf Drive Cafe about a 1/2 mile south from the condo was very good. They have breakfast, a nice bar and dinner too. If you want to, you can walk to it on the beach from the condo. It wasn't as crowded as some of the other restaurants like The Sandbar or Waterfront The Feast restaurant was disappointing. We visited Sarasota, about a 20 minute ride south. In Sarasota we went to the Selby Botanical Gardens which was spectacular and the Ringling Circus Museum which was also amazing. The Ringling Museum also has as a very large art museum on the grounds if you like looking at art. Very nice day in Sarasota! A great vacation. Hope to go back next year!

Great spot!

The location and amenities were perfect! We did lose WiFi for about 36 hours due to a storm but it was fixed by Monday. Close enough to walk to a few restaurants or just take the free trolley. Beach was perfect and lounge chairs and towels were provided. We did not realIze until 2 days before we left that there was an outside closet that stored a canopy, umbrellas, additional chairs and toys so that would’ve been nice to know on day 1. There is a regular coffee pot and a 1 cup keurig which was nice. Beach was amazing and we loved the private entrance to our condo. It couldve been a bit cleaner but I’d give that 3-5 stars but nothing that would keep me from returning ! Will be back!

Great location, awesome view

Our stay at Marbella Villas Unit 2 was a great experience. Despite management never communicating with us once we arrived (we lost internet for a day and never could use the master bedroom tv our entire stay), the views and location are enough for us to consider a stay in this unit in the future. Another thing they could approve on would be a few more trash bags. We only had one for the entire week and given the fact you aren’t supposed to leave any items behind, what a waste it was to discard a near full box of trash bags.
