Sturgis week stay

We had a great stay, I brought an air mattress for the futon (knowing about futons) which worked great for the second bed. Clean and comfortable stay.

Charming Cabin for Two

Excellent central location for touring from Sturgis to Custer. Cabin was perfect for two people. Felt very private although we had a neighbor. I would happily stay here again.

The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and the location was great. The instructions said to write in the guest book, but we couldn’t find one.

Dakota Cabin

This was our first time to this area and the Hill City location was ideal for all of our day trips. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. We used the grill one evening and enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the birds. We were very comfortable and appreciated the amenities available in the kitchen area.

Close to everything and comfiest bed ever!

We stayed for two nights at the end of a long trip. When we arrived we were tired and achy from our adventures. We were so happy with how clean and comfy this place was, but best of all the shower was amazing and the bed was seriously the most comfy ever. All of the aches were gone by the morning! On top of all that it is really convenient to attractions like Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Needles highway. We were traveling with our dogs so it was a huge bonus that this awesome place was also dog-friendly. We would highly recommend staying here .

Great place convenient location

Very clean and comfortable. One thing that would improve it greatly would be to change the bed from a double to a queen or king. Otherwise very well equipped and nice quiet place to stay. We were there for four nights. Convenient to Hill City, Custer, Mt. Rushmore etc.

Cabin is very clean and updated.

Cabin is very clean and updated. Location is fantastic. Easy to find yet away from everything. At the same time, town is close enough to easily make a quick trip. Location and the shower were great! Easy to work with. Everything was well explained in contact information. Checking in and out worked perfectly. Never needed to contact anyone with questions or problems.

My husband and I loved the Dakota Cabin.

My husband and I loved the Dakota Cabin. It was perfect for the 2 of us. We loved our coffee with a great view every morning on the patio. The cabin located right outside of hill city was in a perfect spot for everything we wanted to do while we were on vacation. When we came back tired at the end of the day it was nice to have a cozy spot just for the 2 of us. It was hard to leave when our trip was over, cant wait to visit again. Thank you! My only contact with the team was thru emails. Everything I needed to know was clearly spelled out making it easy to find the cabin and get checked in. Everything was great when we got there and had no issues the whole time while we were there. It made for a nice worry free vacation.

Very lovely.

Very lovely. It overlooks the valley and it feels isolated even though there are other homes pretty near by and a city near by. The propane fire pit was perfect on the cooler nights. Will definitely keep in mind for our next stay out there. We had one issue where our key code didn't work. We were able to get in with a physical key, but the team quickly came by and fixed it the next morning. Our power also went out for 3 hours right at the beginning of the trip because of the storms, but our call was promptly answered and she reported the outage to us. The flashlight bulb could do with changing.

Beautiful Property

This was an absolutely beautiful home base for my trail run and mini-vacation with friends. Everything we needed was provided. My one complaint is that the bathroom is located in the bedroom, which makes this slightly more suitable for 1 couple rather than the 2 we had. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Was very happy with our stay at the Dakota cabin. Easy to find, good location, clean. Would stay here again for sure. Only downside is there’s not a full kitchen, but the kitchenette was enough for what my husband and i needed.
