First, this resort is great and 100% would return, but I would not rent from this property management company again. Initial email notes that booking confirmation will arrive via email 5-7days prior to arrival date. That didn't happen and when I requested this several days before check in, I was told I would have this confirmation the day of arrival by 10am resort time. Since this is a timeshare, the reservation needs to be changed to the renters name prior to check in. I attempted to check in early, since we arrived ahead of schedule, but at noon I had no confirmation and neither did the resort. I had a confirmation code, which when checked by the resort was still in the owners name, but NOT the name I was actually provided in the confirmation email. There is no way to talk to property manager directly. I messaged through the VRBO app and Christian did get back with me rather quickly, only to say that he couldn't transfer the reservation to my name until, "right before 4." I was upset, since I'd already been told "days before" and "10am resort time." So, then when I tried to check in after 4pm I still couldn't. I again sent a message, actually several, and then waited for a reply-which took longer and basically was: thank you for your patience.
I eventually got an email message that it was in my name around 430pm and from there check in was smooth.
So, we did get our room and the resort was excellent. Communication with the property manager- Christian, was horrible.
Maybe, don't send a FAQ link that provides misleading information. Don't wait for your renter to contact you to find out what is going on only to provide them with a time that you later claim is not possible to honor. Be sure the new time you then provide is accurate and not dependent on you being messaged several times so that you FINALLY do what you should have done the day or so before my arrival date.
