Harwich Roses

Always a joy and so much fun to have friends stay at Harwich Roses. It has a lovely open Kitchen/Dining/Liv Rm area, small but very functional. Nice deck for outdoor sitting w/a grill for outdoor cooking.

Loved the house overall

Loved the hooks all over. Was a cozy piece of Cape Cod. We really had a peaceful stay and loved the town. Walking distance to every thing and enjoyed it all. Would definitely look to stay here again. Clean and comfortable.

Excellent accommodations

Layout of the cottage is optimal, efficient use of the space. Double check instructions and address - google maps does not take the provided address to the actual property!

Nice stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this little cottage! The location is perfect, very close to shops, restaurants, and less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Vacasa had great communication and the check-in and check-out process was seamless. Overall, the property was clean and the abundance of bathroom towels and beach towels were appreciated. My only complaints are how dusty all of the fans were and the outdoor shower being covered in green algae and parts of the wood were rotting. Having an outdoor shower was important to us, so we were disappointed that we didn’t end up using it due to the condition. Overall, would recommend and would come back! Thank you for having us.

Ideal getaway cottage

Harwich Roses is a lovely cottage.. It has plenty of sleeping options, heat..a decent kitchen. Outdoors has an outdoor shower and a great private deck.. w/a picnic table and Adirondack chairs to hang out, outdoors.

Harwich Port cottage - really fine

Beautiful, recently remodeled and updated cottage. Perfectly located, albeit a little difficult to find initially. Clean, comfortable and bright. Only suggestions are to have a hair dryer, and clear printed instructions for using the fireplace/heater. Otherwise, A#1.

Perfect for a small group

Definitely a tiny cottage. The fact that the queen bed was in the loft could have been clearer in the listing, as the bedrooms are a full in one and a twin with trundle in the other. Not sure everyone who expects a queen wants to climb a ladder! But the location was fantastic for town and beach.

Harwichport Wedding Week-end

The property looked better than the photos. Location could not be better. There was an air conditioner which kept the cottage very comfortable on a muggy week-end. Outdoor shower & patio area were nice. Very comfortable spot. The only issues were with housekeeping (dirty sheets) and cable (no TV).

Pros & Cons

Almost perfect - great for a family! Close to the beach. Communication and check-in got 3 stars because the emails changed from VRBO to direct from Vacasa which we didn’t know to look for and only 2 texts the whole stay touching base. Cleanliness we marked down because of the four ant traps left near the fireplace and the numerous large black ants climbing down the walls and floors. Not sure if we were supposed to provide but there wasn’t any tissues or extra TP rolls or napkins.

Nice place, but small and lacks some stuff

Overall it was fine but the listing was a little misleading in that the place definitely did not have two queen size beds. Also renters should keep in mind that there was no central air or heating in this place. The only heat was that provided by a gas powered fireplace. There is only one air conditioner and it is in the dining room. This is not to say that the place wasn't very good. It was nice enough for my husband and I to stay for a few days. But we were really hoping to have a queen size bed in the downstairs. The only queen size was in the loft which we were not about to climb.
