Great stay, we will be back again!

Loved this house, stunning dream views of the Remarkables. Only a short 15min walk downhill to Queenstown. A nice place to spend some good quality family time, we look forward to staying here again in the future.

INCREDIBLE VIEW

This place had a sensational view from kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathrooms! Great house for a family or 2 or 3 couples. Outdoor spa was a nice touch, less than a 5 mins drive to town centre. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great home with view and spa

Open wood fire, view to die for, lovely wooden feel and a spa in the backyard overlooking a panoramic view. Great to come back again. Only point I would make is the main king bed mattress is close to renew time. Thanks again.

Beautiful panoramic views, comfortable house in ideal location.

Wakatipu Gem was a comfortable home for 6 adults for 8 nights over the New Year period. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made use of the BBQ, allowing us to eat at home when we were not eating at the wonderful restaurants of Queenstown. The dining and living area were very suitable for our group. The beds were comfortable and the ensuite was very modern and clean. The laundry was great, with an outside clothesline and an indoor clothes hoist. The hot tub was only used once due to weather being hot, wet or windy, but if the weather was cool, it would have been amazing. The house isn't super modern but is clean and comfortable with little touches such as games, books and blankets in the living room. The bottle of wine supplied was appreciated. Walking into the town centre was quite easy while there was access to bus stops down stairs just a few houses up the road. If you didn't want to walk uphill or up stairs to get home, Ubers were quite reasonable. The view from this house would be hard to beat, even when the rain clouds came through. Overall we had a lovely stay in a comfortable house, with no real issues.

Great view, warm and cozy.

Highlights were the hot tub, views, slow combustion real fire, plenty of wood. Warm comfortable home, with all you need.

Beautiful views from every room

This place is high on the hill in Queenstown which gives fabulous views. Well kept if a little dated. Well equipped kitchen. Bbq is in the garage:-)

Little Gem delivers 😍

Cosy with character, this little big home delivered everything for everyone… Our family with two grandchildren found the position with the most incredible views, even from your bathrooms an Absoloutely great find. Sitting in a hot tub watching the sky with amazing sunsets was breath taking.. Beds gave a blissful sleep, and a very cosy home.. We would stay here again. Trish ☃️

Stunning views for long weekend getaway

Perfect place for a girls long weekend away. Nice common areas to chill and spectacular views. 20 min walk from town or a $13ish dollar taxi ride. Quiet location, comfy beds, would love to come back.

Fantastic location and property

Excellent location and quality. This property has the most amazing huge beds with quality linen. A well appointed kitchen and large dining area. Lounge has comfy couches a chairs with a big tv. The sunroom is a lovely place for some quiet time. Hot tub a huge bonus. Amazing views from EVERY room in the house!!

Scenic Family Holiday

We loved staying here. The views were amazing and the garden was a lush green and purple. The house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood very close to the town centre. It is well set out and suited our family well, having everything we needed for our holiday. It was very easy to relax in and just take in the incredible views.

House of my dreams

Stayed three nights in the wakitapu gem. This place was spectacular. The views were breathtaking. To finish our stay relaxing in the afternoon with a nice drink sitting in our chairs overlooking the whole of Queenstown was a dream come true. What more could you ask for. The house catered for everyone. From the comfortable warm beds to sitting in sunroom discussing the next days adventures. A must for everyone. Thankyou

Beautiful Views--Comfortable House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wakatipu Gem. Vicky was excellent with communication and very responsive when we had a question. Easy entry through a lock box. The kitchen of the home was thoroughly equipped. Very comfortable beds and very nice bedding. Very clean unit. Excellent value for the money, especially considering what hotel rooms cost. Sitting in the back yard looking at the amazing view never grew old! We really liked the location. We had no idea that Queenstown itself would be so overrun with tourists. The location on Panorama Terrace gave us peace and quiet. We had a car. Easy access to shopping at 5 Mile Center (Pak 'n Save, Countdown, Kmart and gas stations, shops and restaurants). Easy access to roads for day trips to Wanaka, Glenorchy, Arrowtown, and Banncockburn/Cromwell. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay
